I think Ryan tipped that one but I'm not sure cause the defenseman got the goal but it seemed like he tipped it

I thought the same thing looking at his stick, they might change it...they changed a few goals yesterday midway through the game.

And to win $75, they better make it to the finals than lose to North Dakota

4-3 Maine after 2

FLY, do you think Moore has the speed to be a successful NHLer? He is big and strong but I think he is lacking some speed.

MAINE is going to the Frozen Four!

Greg Moore seals the deal with the EN goal 5-3 win.

edit- MSU scored with 3 seconds left. Maine win 5-4...Moore with the GWG EN Goal

Moore has incredible top speed, but his first few steps need some work. I do think he has the speed to still be a force in the pro level.

I'm watching the Wisc/Cornell game and during the intermission they are raving about Moore. Saying hes got the best shot to succeed at the pro level(from Maine and MSU) because of his size and what he does in both sides of the rink and what he can bring to teams.

I was at Albany all weeked at this tournament...

Moore looked fantastic, but then again so did Maine. He was physical, but not overly so, drove the net, scored a few goals (EN included) and seemed to be solid defensively. Best thing about him seemed to be that he led by example out there. Also swore a little on the bench (I sat right in the middle of the benches).

Potter played well I thought. I think the most glaring thing I took away from him is that he 'glides' when he skates and seems rather slow -- that was until I saw him chase down the puck in the third of todays game -- seems like he can crank it up a notch if need be. That other gear JD so often talks about.

Reese on the other hand looked overpowered most of the night vs Maine. I can't say I came away impressed but it's only one game.

If anyone has any questions about the games I'd be glad to answer since I was there Sat and Sun watching the prospects.

MU I drove up yesterday and saw the 2 games, didn't know you were at the game also. I had tickets to todays game also but the trip up to Albany was so long yesterday we decided not to go today...which I kinda regret because it was a great game.

Where were your seats? We were the first row right behind the benches. We were on the jumbo like 10x haha. (near all the Maine fans -- crazy)

I woulda met up with you if I had known.

We had seats about 5 rows back, but our section was pretty crowded so we ended up moving to the upper section, center ice to see everything a lot better.
