it would of been Hit or Miss with Avery. He could of either sparked us really well and gotten us momentum (or if anything gotten under the Devils and certainly Marty's skin), or he would have self-imploded and taken us down with his antics.

That is because people look only at stats, he brings something to the table that is not about numbers.

The Rangers really miss Dubi's puck possession along the boards. Devils are a big team and the Rangers are not winning as many battles as they usually do.

I would imagine he plays. I hope so anyway... We need his work along the boards.

Brandon Dubinsky again says he's feeling better but no other update on whether he'd be available for Game 5.

I know we don't know all the details and whatnot but it he's practicing in a contact jersey he's got to get out there. This is the ECF. This may be a once in a career type thing for some of these guys. This is why you play throughout the season, to be in this situation.

If he's 80%, he's in the line up. I'm sure of that. Rangers nation needs you Dubi. If there was ever a time....this would be that time.

Crazy how a handfull of great playoff games could possibly erase a downright awful season

meh i'd rather him get healthy. i don't want a useless 4 mill cap hit for 4 years. bad enough he had the performance of a 2 mill guy this season. he's not conditioned. leg needs to strengthen a little more i'm sure. he'll be back soon enough, but i dont want him rushed unless it's do or die.

Yes but giving him 20 minutes yesterday once we were down 2-0 he could have set the tone for game 5, no way we were coming back from 2-0 down yesterday, instead we had to settle for the love tap Rupp does do Marty, I mean he barely touched Marty, if you are going to do that, make it worth it.

Hell, even a 50% Dubinsky would help this team right now. If he can skate at all, and do anything close to what he's done this year (except scoring goals) he would give this team a real jolt.

I really think dubinsky is a go tomorrow night. Seems like he wants in, honestly wouldnt hurt the team. There is 0 offense...throw zuccarello in too. Dubi and zucc for rupp and mitchell.

This is crunch time. Dubi can absolve all the sins and horrors of his contract/regular season with some big play this series.

Magic of the playoffs.

Dubi coming back. Another grinder who can't score to the rescue.

What other options do we have? Do you honestly think Rupp or Mitchell will be generating goals in game 5 and onward?

Honestly. The Dubi hate is getting tiring.

Rangers have 4 excellent players, none of whom is a forward. That they have made it this far is a testament to the 4, the coach, and effort.
