Any place in the Charlotte area someone can recommend watching games at?
Gonna be up near Northlake Mall, then staying near Montclaire south Hyatt..
Any suggestions near either?

I know there is one of these near Northlake. It's my understanding they carry the NHL network so I'm assuming they are hockey friendly.

If you can abide Buffalo fans.

EDIT: I just remembered where you're staying. TOTT is not really close to either of them... more like halfway in between. Also, Buffalo fans.

Full credit to him on this one...although I imagine the reason he did answer questions is that someone (ie. upper management) got in his ear and told him he better do so. Regardless, it's a change and that's good.

Hoping the Kings can close this out tonight. Do not want Phoenix hanging around, could spell disaster for Kings if they allow them to stay in this much longer.

It's currently 106 degrees in Phoenix, but I'd still recommend wearing a coat to the game, as in a little under an hour there's gonna be a monster White Out.

If he didn't look undead, he'd definitely be more marketable.

He just needs to keep a beard year-round. Like it's been said, he actually looks human that way.

So why is nobody discussing this game? I've only watched the third period so far, but it's a great game from what I've seen.

Take note, this is the kind of ending that builds a rivalry.

Dustin Brown is a pos. It makes it hard to root for the Kings, and I really want them to win. Southern hockey and all that. And no, he should not be suspended for that knee.

It's a shame there had to be so many idiots in the crowd in Phoenix to ruin that postgame celebration. I'll be rooting for the Kings in the Finals.

Gotta say, this was a great game...until OT. Some brutal calls (and non-calls) by the officials that ruined an otherwise good game. The questionable hit by Brown is the obvious one, but there's also the offside that wasn't called on Doughty, and the delay of game that was missed on Voynov.

Still, congrats to the Kings. Makes it all the more difficult to grab Penner in the offseason though.

I was glued to a game for the first time in about 2 weeks. What a great matchup of personalities and skills.

Even the goalies. I learned to hate Mike Smith in this playoffs, with his overhandling the puck and calling out his teammates after goals. Meanwhile Jonathan Quick is the most unoffensive goalie this side of Ward.

Whitney - 2G, 5A, 7PTS in 15 playoff games

0G, 1A in the series

Still way better in the playoffs than Cole

I still can't find myself liking either Richards or Carter, unfortunately. Other than those two, Brown on occasion, and Doughty's random rage outbursts, I like everyone else on the team. That's something I can't say for many other teams...there's always a few players I can't stand.

Well, with Phoenix eliminated and not really caring enough about the remaining teams to bandwagon them, I've switched to the offseason avatar.

I like it.
