Who do you want the Kings to face in the Finals?

Do you want the Kings to play NY or NJ in the finals? Why?

Doesn't matter all that much to me, but I guess the Rangers. They've looked much more average even in wins than NJ.

Both are strong teams. I guess the Rangers because they will be pretty tired.

Rangers. Just seems more fitting.

*Quick v. Lundqvist

*Rangers and Kings started the NHL season in Stockholm, now lets see them end it.

*2 Biggest cities in the country.

*Kings beat the 1st, 2nd, 3rd seeds in the West. Rangers were 1st in the East and #1 in the NHL.

*Last time Sutter went to finals it was against Tortorella and Brad Richards.

*Brown is an NY kid. Him and Marc Staal have had some epic battles in the past.

Vancouver was #1 in the NHL.

Hmmm. I though it was the Rangers for some reason. But NYR was still #1 in the East so it would be fitting.

Torts is VERY entertaining. Plus, the Rangers are an original six team. Oh yeah, and MSG is creepy and haunted!

At first I wanted to face NJ and their defense, but now I would rather face NY. They have trouble scoring and they have trouble against a strong forecheck.

Go Kings!!

I've gone over this in my head a bunch since the ECF started and really I think both teams are equal. So whatever, just beat whoever comes out of the series.

Stats and the fatigue factor point to NY being the favored match-up, but I think either team will be challenging. Not a strong opinion.

I highly doubt NY makes it out of the East. They've been out of gas for 2 games now.

Rangers. We started with them in Stockholm so lets finish with them in LA or NY. It would also be nice to say we beat the #1, 2, & 3 teams in the NHL to win the cup. Not to mention the #3 seed in the west.

NJ because its my friends team and it will make for a more interesting finals for me, and I really would love for LA to beat his team for the Cup

Oh and beating out Kovi for the cup would be sweet too!

I had a dream two weeks ago where Doughty scored a Cup winning goal in MSG. Rangers.

I want the best to play the best.

I think our style infuriates the opponents and really infuriates certain types of personalities. Heck even Tippett lost his cool.

I have a feeling Torts is a guy who is really easy to get to lose his cool.

But...

Either team, we will ROLL them.

Devils because Marty is the greatest goalie in the history of the game and I want to see him in the finals for possibly one last time. Also, the only two defenseman I like in this league more than Adam Larsson are Drew Doughty and Slava Voynov.

The Rangers.

Because the Kings will have a tougher time with the Devils IMO.

More defensively sound and scoring depth. Big and skilled.

Snipers Kovi, Parise, Elias, Zajac and power forward Clarkson.

Since it looks like most Kings fans want to see the Rangers make the finals, that pretty much guarantees that the Devils will win the series.

Devils fans can thank us later.

Gotta be the Rangers, so many good storylines, and I want no piece of a Frenvh Canadian goaltender this time around. Richards and Callahan have history, and I would love to see them drop the gloves at some point. Having Rick and Carter inboard should help the Kings in the scouting department for either of the two remaining eastern teams.
