Dubinsky had just one assist in seven games against the Senators, but he could help in the faceoff circle. During the regular season, he won 51.9 percent of his draws. During the postseason, the Rangers have won 48 percent of faceoffs, 15th out of 16th teams -- only the Devils have won fewer faceoffs.
Here's a best guess at the Rangers' lineup for Game 5 against the Devils:
Carl Hagelin - Brad Richards - Marian Gaborik
Chris Kreider - Derek Stepan - Ryan Callahan
Ruslan Fedotenko - Brian Boyle - Brandon Prust
Artem Anisimov - Brandon Dubinsky - Mike Rupp
Ryan McDonagh - Dan Girardi
Marc Staal - Anton Stralman
Michael Del Zotto - Stu Bickel
Didn't zipay write that no zuke tonight, still on the ice with the scratches?
yeah...he stayed out there longer...if the rangers drop the game tonight, i think torts mixes it up even more and bring zuke in the lineup, if the rangers win tonight youll see the same lineup on friday....i think zuke could be seen in the next round if the rangers find a way to get past new jersey...i really want to see zuke in there though!
knowing Dubinsky, I am sure that if he plays tonight he'll at least be skating all over the place. Who knows if it'll result in anything positive.
I think Rupp is going to be awake after last game. Prust will be hungry too. I hope they end up on the same line together. Would actually like a Rupp-Dubinsky-Prust line to at least get a shot. They may be able to get an ugly one. If nothing else they'd be a line that would eat time in the offensive zone.
All playoffs, in games like these, someone has stepped up. It's a question of who?
And the guys on this team better have the mentality "If not now, then when? If not me, then who?"
