I am in a nice little keeper league, right now we are up to 9 keepers. My keepers i'm confident about for the top 7 are:
I'm really in a conundrum on my last two slots. I am not going to list my whole team but i'm going to list the players that I am having a hard time deciding on. What two would you pick and why?
I almost want to eliminate Hemsky, he was a failed experiment. J. Staal will be back to a third line center now that Crosby is back so that 25/25 for 50 seems less likely although it's great that he can get me some shorthanded points. Nielsen plays first line powerplay minutes (which can always change depending on this offseason) and also puts in shorthanded time. Zajac is coming off an injury but has been getting 1st line power play minutes and hasn't been bad in the playoffs. I really like him, but just wondering what the Devil's landscape will look like minus Parise if that happens. I just can't imagine Tanguay continuing to put up numbers like he has, but who knows.
So any help would be greatly appreciated, I still have plenty of time to make a decision, but lately it's been bugging me and I figured it'd be nice to get some input now! Thanks again!
Staal and Ehrhoff, but considering you already have a ton of d-men, go Staal and Zajac. I would keep Ehrhoff over Streit though.
Even with how bad Ehrhoff was this season and how Streit really found his stride and finally seemed 100% at the end of the season. Half way through the season I may have agreed with you but after watching Streit skate the last third of the season he was back to form and I have no doubt he'll be that way next season....
PS. just wanted to write "season" one more time...
