Part IV | Marlies vs Admirals | MARLIES HEAD TO THE CALDER CUP!

Hey guys I was just wondering if anyone knows if the toronto marlies will play at the ACC if they make the finals? I think that would be awesome.

They can't fill up the Ricoh. Why the **** would they go to the acc?

Anyone else find it odd Eakins referenced Zigomanis, Mueller, Blacker and Ashton as key pieces missing, and not Naz?

And when a reporter asked if Naz would be back, he said "anyone else?" And then ended the presser?

It might ruin their run for the Calder Cup. Just leave things the way they are.

I think they shouldn't. It's better to sell out RICOH and have an awesome atmosphere doing so, rather than a half-empty ACC.

Probably because it goes without saying that Nazem Kadri is a key piece, as Eakins has said it again and again throughout the season. Maybe he is also annoyed that there is such a focus on Kadri when it is a team of 20 guys, not one.

A professional hockey championship won on ACC ice would be a rare treat!

Oh I agree, and I loved that presser as he spoke so well of the team as a unit. Made me wish he was going the Leafs next year. (Maybe will be as an assistant?)

Just thought it was odd to mention those guys, and not throw Kadri a mention as well.

Don't know why people are still bothering to argue with Frankie... it's like playing chess against a pidgeon. You can be a master player, but the pidgeon will just randomly knock pieces down, **** on the board and strut around like it's the victor.

It's odd, but I think we may be reading too much into it.

Cue "certain" posters, claiming that this is an indication from Eakins that Kadri is not a key contributor and that he doesn't want him back.

Wow, can't believe they've made it this far. Hopefully they can close it out at home. Any timeline on Kadri? If he comes back Friday it's a HUGE boost

Good job, boys! A shining star in this otherwise bizarre and disappointing season.

Hopefully soon. He might not be needed for the Barons but definitely a need for the next round.

I don't think you understand just how low of attendance that Marlies get...

If it an't broken don't fix it. Leave things they way they are, the Marlies play @ Ricoh, not the ACC. I also don't think the team would appreciate removing them out of their home stadium during the playoffs.

this

not to mention that it's still entirely possible for OKC to win this series
