It was only a matter of time.

New Jersey is the best of the two teams.

I can't figure out who I want to win this series. I really dislike both teams...although I hope the Kings win either way.

Rags are giving up the blue line on every shift and I think they've done this all season long. Last game it was causing too much space between their D and offense and forwards were reacting to it by coming back far too deep, now they just look like they don't know what to do anymore.

looked like a pretty clear kicking motion. Id be pissed if that happened against Montreal.

I agree. I'd say if you're trying to teach how to kick a puck in without getting called on it, that's an ideal video.

Im surprised that they made the decision so fast. Its like they do not watch all the angles.

That was a pretty clear kicking motion IMO.

Not sure how that was a goal. Clearly kicked it in imo.
On the subject though, I find it stupid they allow redirected pucks towards the goal but not kicking motions. It's the same damn thing to me.
Should be simpler, if it's accidental goal. If it's redirected or kicked, no goal.

It's like the NHL wants to put their refs in tough spots and force them to make controversial calls.

Nah, a kick just prevents players from frantically kicking at a loose, but not in motion puck. Scrums like that usually have at least one guy down and have 3 players or more kicking at it could end up in a very unfortunate event.

Looked like a kick to me, as well.

Never believe the fix thing but I'm starting to believe it.

Clear kicking motion goal that was accepted. Then Brodeur was pushed in the net while freezing the puck, goal was allowed. 4 min high stick unpunished.

add in the Devils defenseman i believe fayne who was knocked down at the blueline.

The NHL needs a big market team to get some ratings for the finals. Its pretty darn clear

People are reading a bit to much into his failures on a completely dysfunctional LA offense this season. Playoff Penner is much closer than what you typically get from him than his regular season.
It's the same thing every postseason. There's a player that plays beyond expectations and everyone completely ignores the player he really is. This player goes on to sign a contract and not live up to the money they are earning. Just like Joel Ward last season.

It's an idiotic way to build a team, trying to outbid other desperate and clouded teams for an average player.
