Heart wrenching loss.

But we showed life! We lost but we showed heart. No way Hank plays three putrid games in a row. This is going 7!

We'll get em.

If they lose this series, this is going to be a game that rangers fans remember for the rest of their lives for the wrong reason. Good job Rangers, rat ********.

I'm not saying Henrik played well, but another 40 minute effort from the skaters didn't help.

Doesn't get more deflating than this...hopefully the team is more positive than what we're feeling right now. To everyone who was drawing comparisons to 1994, this is the script you wanted..I guess the only thing left to do is have faith that we take games 6 and 7

I think I rather watch a ****** team than a great team that can't win playoff games that they should win.

This is nowhere near as heart breaking to me as chokenins shootout attempt vs the Flyers. We are still in this, we played a GOOD game with a **** start, we WILL win on Friday.

Can't believe they came back, Hagelin with a lazy back check costs us the game. So many chances squandered
Gaborik missing the open net
Feds tip that squirted wide
Cally hitting the post
The wraparound that Rupp couldn't get

This one hurts and I am not sure what team will show up for game 6. I am sick of being beaten by the Devils 4th line and this team fans on every puck or cannot clear the zone.

We got some breaks this game and did not capitalize, trying to be positive but tying it up after being down 3-0 to give up a lazy goal to lose... it hurts.

They only show heart when they are trailing. If we are tied or ahead we are sitting ****ING DUCKS.

Hags needs to play in the bottom 6 at this point. He has looked lousy in this series and has been lackluster offensively throughout the playoffs. Not a knock on him personally, but he is a rookie who has played far more games than he ever has before and it is reflecting in the way he plays.

I totally blame the entire team and Tort's for this one! 1st Lundqvist was far from his self, which was obvious but their were also some defensive breakdowns! Then the team pushes back and dominates the game but yet after they tie it up they lay back again! Utterly ridiculous! They should have seen, as the rest of us did, that the constant forecheck and offensive pressure worked but NO, they decided to revert right back to the same crap that got them into the 3 goal deficit!

Girardi looks toast.

Tough game for Henrik, bad rebound control on that first one and the Zajac shot was awful.

This series will define Lundy. I hope he realize whats going to happen if he lose it. I'm pretty sure he doesn't want the "choke" label for the rest of his life.

I honestly wish we never scored that 3rd goal. You lose 3-2 and you feel like you played hard to come back. You lose 5-3 like THAT and you're completely deflated. I think that the team shot its load and game 6 will just be a formality. They're done, IMO.

if the caps could handle a game 5 loss in ot after giving up the tying goal with under 7 seconds to go in the 3rd can bounce back in game 6 win, we surely can win game 6 on friday!!!! we need to play our hockey system as we did tonight without the couple mistakes and we will force a game 7....friday night i go all in on vbookie...

also on a game like tonight, i hate this one postgame show combining the two teams, so annoying

As pathetic as that was, I was more upset with the last game then this one.

That one goal went off Anisimov's skate too

Hank and the stretch pass is why we lost.

People are blaming Del Z for his stretch pass but Torts WANTS him to do that. Why do you guys think there is always a high winger in the neutral zone? For stretch pass tip ins. Blame Torts stubborn system not Del Z.

Hank was dreadful tonight, no way around that.

now i know how the caps felt.
