The lack of killer instinct has reared its face all playoffs. 0-7 when having the chance to go up by 2 games. Losing game 2 when up 2-1. Losing game 2 against Ottawa. Losing game 4 against Ottawa. Then in this game, battling back from a 3 goal deficit to then take their foot off the gas when they tie it? It's just unbelievable.
if the caps could handle a game 5 loss in ot after giving up the tying goal with under 7 seconds to go in the 3rd can bounce back in game 6 win, we surely can win game 6 on friday!!!! we need to play our hockey system as we did tonight without the couple mistakes and we will force a game 7....friday night i go all in on vbookie...
also on a game like tonight, i hate this one postgame show combining the two teams, so annoying
The NBC crew showed the replay multiple times and never even mentioned the high stick. You are watching Stephan bent over and they said nothing. Not until intermission was anything said. We also should have been on the power play for the third goal.
Its a ****ing disgrace. A DISGRACE.
This is supposed to be the highest level of our sport.
Who gives a **** about his shutouts? I care about wins more than I care about his padded stats from the shutouts.
I'm just saying that we don't need to crucify Lundqvist. I know his showing up late to the party is the primary reason we lost this game, but at the same time he's had a great year, and outside of the first 5 mins played well enough to win a game on any night.
We're in for a rough 2 games as it stands, I really just don't feel like hearing from every ****ing negative nancy on gods green earth when most of what I saw tonight was damn good, and we were a millimeter away from another goal twice. I'm more upset about game 4 where we were the new york zombies than I am about a game that we played just the tip but didn't drive it home.
