Back to back games Lundqvist hasn't played well...

And why are they showing more Devil players on the post game?

I still believe we can get this done, but I've had bad thoughts creeping in (how could they not?). I mean, after the year we've had and the run we've made, how can it end against the most odious of all teams? It would be the worst thing possible.

we could do this all night if you like...
But the point is that it DID happen. You aren't going to get all the calls. You can't play the chain reaction game and say that if x penalty was called than y and z goals would not have been scored because we really don't know what would've happened.

No way I'm blaming the refs for this one.

Then you're still wrong.

Let's see this team be relevant with ****ing Marty Biron, or any starter in the league not named Quick or Rinne.

Today, inexcusable. Monday...yeah, we showed a lot of heart that game.

If they want to win this series they just have to come out and play 60 minutes. It's only 2 games. This is still anybody's series.

What was his stats for the majority of the season? Up until he started playing like complete garbage, his stats were extremely similar to Lundqvist's. Coincidence? I think not.

It could also be one of the worst games in franchise history.

Not looking forward to it.

I would tend to agree but it is never easy to make it this far, so they need to capitalize now because this chance may never come back again in their career or anytime soon for this franchise! I am as hopeful as anyone but this is their chance and sadly this could be the demise! I am really really trying to be optimistic but I don't know... This was deflating! The fact that their forecheck and damn near domination was working after their 3 goal blunder but yet after they tie they revert back to the same crap conservative play just doesn't give me loads of confident feelings!

There's this thing we like to call small sample size. Look it up. Hank maintained record breaking numbers until the last month of the season.

Without Hank this team is garbage. He cost us more points than he won? Maybe in March...funny you ignore the rest of the season though, where he was CLEARLY our MVP. You're blind if you don't think he carried us, especially so in the last 2 rounds of the PO's.
Yup. He has been great. He ****ed up badly in this game, but that doesn't take away his stellar season and his past 2 rounds.

Hopefully we see THAT hank Friday

Game 2: 3 goals against
Game 4: 3 goals against
Game 5: 4 goals against

We have no shot to win those games b/c we are not going to score 4 goals or 5 goals against the devils.

Yes he stole games 1 and 3, but would rather his consistency like rounds 1 and 2 than the volatility in conf finals....

We won't see an effort like that again this season.

It's been great but it's over.

I hope this great run doesn't lead to conservatism in altering the roster next season.

Who said I'm blaming the refs? My basic point is that Stepan and the Rangers were looking for a penalty and they didn't get it. No one was paying attention and the Devils scored. Which, IMO, led to a harder grind...and so on and so on...

If I see the same BS effort in the 1st period again, they might as well just pack their bags. No need to tease us again.

But the ref's missed a call!!!! lol. If they didn't miss that call the Ranger's would've won the Stanley Cup due to a shift in the space-time continuum!!!..lol. Come on man...really? Bad calls were made or not made on both sides...get over it already.

We came damn close to scoring 5 against the devils today. (Gabby shooting over the open net, Cally's double poster by a pube shot)

Agree with this. He brought us here, so we can't be that upset with him.

That said, now he REALLY is gonna have to carry us in game 6 and, if we get there, 7. Come on Hank.

I mean, those are just 'as close' as goal 2 being disallowedand goal 3 never happening...easy to see it from one side, but all-in, we should be winning games where we score 3...or at worst, we should be in OT at 3-3, not losing in regulation.

One thing I hate is getting beat by nobody 4th liners. Stephen "28 year old rookie" Gionta and Ryan "18 goals in 8 NHL seasons" Carter got the best of us, and that REALLY pisses me the **** off.
