if we win game 6 i dont see us losing game 7. unfortunately i have the same amount of confidence us winning game 6 as i did us winning game 5 last year in washington, which is 0%. well last year was 0%, this year its about 10%.
If the Caps can shake off a 3OT loss ANNDDDDD A ****ING 6.6 secs to go goal with an OT loss...
Then this squad better be up to the ****ing task of shaking this **** off!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've ****ing had it!!!!!!
we're going on the road, caps played both those games at home. big difference. devils are gonna come out flying
That's the difference in this series. Our bottom six against your bottom six. I think I was trolling about this a month or two ago, and probably was laughed off the forum. But our bottom six has been an absolute revelation, especially with Elias being AWOL. But you guys shouldn't have that much of a problem fortifying that area in the offseason.
Unfortunately I think we will because- if it was up to me I would not re-sign Prust, Feds, or Mitchell- but Torts is for some reason in love with those guys so he will push to have them re-signed. Feds is decent but Prust and Mitchell are not full-time NHLers to me.
The Devils 4th line is the exact opposite of ours, they can skate, forecheck, and have the speed to beat the other team to loose pucks. Our 4th line is slow and lumbering, like human pylons. Definitely need to switch that up for next season.
At the end of the day, we can say it was 0-0 at the beginning of the 3rd if you want. Rangers had all of the momentum and then just went completely flat. They were outplayed for most of the third. They had a chance to take the series lead and they blew it.
Now, it's on to game 6. Either we win and go back to MSG or we lose and watch the Devils in the finals.
