What a terrible way to lose. If they had the nylon goldie thing across our net we would have won. Don't know what the heck was wrong with Hank, but he was brutal. You want to win the cup? You cannot have games like that from your franchise goalie. Will Hank ever win the cup? I hope so, but who knows? Fatso has won 3 times, and sucks now but could still win a 4th. They have had a great year, but to get this close and give it all away is a real shame.

NJ WILL COME OUT FIRING on Friday. With more intensity than tonights game. Maybe we can rope a dope them again. Who knows. I dont know how we should win anymore. We play a crappy game in # 3 and rope a dope a win. Play like Crap in 4 and get dominated and lose. Play our best game of the series tonight....and lose. We play Torts Defensive Shell system....we get pinned. We play balls ot, pedal to the metal and dominate them, but its not enough. Sighs......

welcome to playoff hockey. goalies can steal games/series/cups for a team, and they can lose games/series/cups for a team. hank was the biggest reason we won game 3, and the biggest reason we lost game 5. we need to find a happy medium in game 6, a 4-2 win sounds about right.

18 years ago, the Rangers lost a game 5 to the NJ Devils 4-1 to go down 3-2 in the Eastern Conference Finals. 18 years ago, they would rally to win the final 2 games to advance to their first Stanley Cup Finals in 15 years.

2 years ago, my now fiancee was preparing to graduate from medical school. She did so on May 24, 2010. I couldn't have been happier.

May 25, 2010... a totally different story. I was 5 hours into a new job in Hartford, CT, when my sister told me to get to NJ. I got there by 6:30pm. My father passed just after 10pm. He is the reason I'm a Rangers fan. It kills me every day that he's not here anymore.

I find it hard to believe that 18 years to the day of the "Messier Game" and 2 years to the day that I lost my Father, that we're going to lose. I still believe in this team.

We outplayed the Devils for the majority of this game. They got goals that Hank probably stops 80% of the time. The Rangers WILL WIN Friday night. They have to. I need them too....

Loss is on Hank & Hagelin. Hank is always immediately forgiven, Hags not so much. But he's 50 times better than the other options, so I guess he's forgiven too. Lets hope for a Zuc return in game 6.

I really don't know what to say...

Hank really **** the bed at first, but whatever

yeah del zotto's inability to clear the puck really hurt us, im not gonna go negative nancy though we still got a chance, i really thought we were gonna pull it out when we tied out, this team hasn't scored more then 3 the entire playoffs, i thought tn was the the night to break the trend.. sadly it wasnt..

we all said it comes down to hank and goals and tonight hank didn't do what he needed to

Stralman was the worst D-man on the ice tonight.

I might be over dramatic, but this is like a nightmare.

I hope they boys come out flying and kick some ass in the ghetto.

Can't go out like this.

The whole team just looks so fatigued out there. For the first time, Henrik was as well it appeared. His reaction time was not up to his standard tonight. When u play so many close, intense games in a row, that is going to happen.

I know the Devils have only played 2 less games. They did have nearly a week off between rounds, which is HUGE in the playoffs. The Rangers not only endured 2 grueling 7 games series, but 14 super close games where their top 4 D were logging insane minutes and Henrik had to be on top of his game since the smallest mistake could easily had been the difference between a win or loss. Meanwhile everyone else is hitting like crazy and blocking millions of shots, which take their toll. They play a heavy brand of hockey. Add this with a lseason that started overseas and had the HBO/winter classic....they can only go so far.

If they lose he series, the biggest lesson here is how important it is to close out opponents quickly. They were clearly playing on borrowed time especially late in the Caps series. Sometimes u need to learn how to succeed in the playoffs the hard way before the next step is attainable. See the 2010 Bruins.

Despite this, I still believe the Rangers can dig deep and win Games 6 and 7.

even after going down 3-0 in the first 10 mins, the hockey Gods smiled and gave us a Prust goal, A lucky bounce off Callahan's skate, and one that Fatty put in himself.

After all that, you maintain pressure, raise everyone's hopes, then completely **** yourself in the last 4 minutes of the game?

I don't even...the Rangers are 10-9 in the playoffs. They are playing their worst hockey of the year statistically, I don't remember any point during the year where our record was this ******. Win Lose Win Lose Win Lose Lose Win..
