I'm not going to repeat anything he said that could be considered controversial because he was cool enough to trust me and the group I was with all night. We were being cool but I was shocked at how open he was.

We only briefly talked about hockey. We were all there having a good time and I know he didn't want to talk about hockey all night. He knew I was a season ticket holder so I didn't want to come off too strong. In the little we did talk about hockey he said he was disappointed to have the run come to an end with a loss to Phoenix. Not an exact quote but he said LA would wipe the floor with Phoenix(Looking good so far). After a few drinks and I was a little tipsy I did ask some tougher questions like What the hell was he thinking with Zetterburg? He said he was just so pissed off he snapped. Said Shanny told him had there been an injury he would have been suspended.

After I had a few more drinks I couldn't help myself and I told him it was so weird to be here hanging out with him when usually I'm in the stands saying " What the **** are you doing Weber?!" He just laughed.

Someone brought up karaoke and he said no way. He had no problem playing hockey in front of 17,000 people but there is no way he would sing in front of people at a bar.

I do have to say for being a 7.5 million dollar man I was a little disappointed he was buying Bud Light but when Shea Weber is offering you free drinks you take them. Also bought our group a round of shots.

Probably was the second best night going out ever in my life besides a couple years ago in Vegas me and my buddies ended up meeting some beautiful ladies playing Blackjack at New York New York and they ended up getting us in every place possible that night. Specifically the hardwood suite at The Palms which is just insane. I have the same surreal feeling today as I do about the Vegas night. Did that just really happen?

That's an awesome story. I have nothing good by comparison, other than one night at Tin Roof 2 me and my friends saw Chris Mason and a couple of his friends. I talked to him briefly and then when Hamhuis got there he left and gave us his table. While everyone else was waiting for one. He was really cool. Hamhuis seemed kinda like a ****** and he essentially ignored me.

I got my guitar back yesterday. I hadn't played in about 8 years, but my father got me one for Christmas, we had to send it back and I didn't get to bring it with me to JC for the spring. It's kind of like riding a bicycle in some respects. I learned a couple of new chords today and picked up a few songs, as well. It's amazing how I didn't care about music for the 7 years I took guitar lessons as a little kid, but now I'm really into music and driven to learn about it with no real outside influences.

Should I worry if I have a 3 inch bulging vein when I exercise over my temple?

Well, it would explain my anger management issues and the want to kick down the parking meter today.

Sometimes when I work out I'll feel like my heart is going to explode out of my chest (usually when I'm on a cardio day rather than a lifting day). I just have to remind myself that it's kind of the point

If they renamed Game of Thrones to Tyrion Doing Something Silly, no one would know the difference.

Dunno if I mentioned here before, but there's now a professional Ultimate Disc league out there playing its first season. I've been following it reasonably closely because, well...

...because #6 in white (called "DVE") there is my younger brother Dave.

The arena looks good tonight on the CMT awards. Had a couple of good shots of the boys during the hank part outside the Nissan entrance. Fisher is in the house of coarse with his wife and he is getting a ton of camera time.

Just seeing this now. Congrats to your little bro. I was first introduced to this in high school, we used to play it in PE either on the football field or the practice soccer fields. I was pretty good at it and it's a ton of fun to play.

Why do I always choose to go after the difficult women and completely ignore the ones who make themselves completely available to me? The only answer I can come up with is I love to torture myself.

A lot of people always want the things they can't have, or may not be able to have. I'm kind of the same way sometimes. If I know for a fact I can have something it makes it less appealing.

Your life could always be worse: you could be named Chief Kickingstallionisms or be a Blue Jackets fan. Or be a Blue Jackets fan named Chief Kickingstallionisms...
