I'm not usually a big believer in must wins but I think it's safe to say this is a must win.

LETS GO RANGERS!

Prepared for the worst and hoping for the best. Play the full 60 minutes like we played the 2nd period of Game 5 and I like our chances.

LET'S GO RANGERS!

If Henrik plays like himself and the rest of the team plays like they played in game 5, we will be fine. I can't imagine that Henrik won't come up huge in this game.

Let's Go Rangers!!!!

Like the lineup. Insert Zuke on the 3rd line and slide down Feds to the 4th is basically what I would like to see. Sit one of Rupp, Boyle or Prust... Yeah right....it'll be a snowstorm in Hades before we see that...LGR!!! The King steals this one and we grind it out in OT in game 7???

I remember game 5 against Ottawa when people got disappointed that they lost and didn't score a goal and a lot of people though they were done. Finished. I believe they played that game 5 like it was the best of the series, but they just didn't score. I equated it to the game when they played Colorado in the regular season where Varlamov made some crazy saves and they were snake bit that game. That was game 5 the other night. It was the best game they played in nearly a week. They scored some goals, gained an advantage in territorial play and put pressure on the Devils. It just so happened that Hank was not himself and had some bad bounces go their way.

That's not going to happen two games in a row. Not to this team, not to this goalie.

They'll get the first one and keep going from there. Put the pressure on the Devils to close it out at home. This is Game 7 for both teams. New Jersey does NOT want to go back to the Garden for a game 7. They aren't going to let it get away from them knowing they have another game.

This is our game to win and they will get it done.

LGR!

I don't want my sleep-filled nights back just yet. Repeat Game 5 without the shocking first 10 minutes and it'll be OK.

Kind of makes you look back and laugh when people call must wins in December.

Like I posted in the Zuccarello thread (And I'm wearing my flame suit..)

Quote:
Opponents have figured Hags and Stepan in the playoffs a long time ago - so getting a relativly unknown playmaker who plays with his heart on his sleve, doesn't back down, throws his body around, scores and makes tape to tape passes in dangerous areas can ONLY help at this point..
plus I dont want to shave my play of beard just yet...

I want the younger fans, who were babies during the '94 run, who have suffered through some ****** teams to feel what I did back then. Hope they get it to game 7. LGR!

I would sit Rupp for Mitchell. After a game in the stands Mitch would come out and play his best game. Rupp hasn't done much in the playoffs. Nothing motivates a player like being a healthy scratch.
