The rumours speak mainly about Detroit. I know it sounds crazy (to me as well). Maybe he thinks he could back up and mentor Jimmy Howard for a year or two? I don't know. You never know what to expect from Hasek. But I gotta admire his passion for hockey. He seems to be doing everything to play once again.

I wouldn't be shocked if he pulls it off.

No, his son is just studying on the US. It says he was visitting him and had some talks with unidentified GM's during that trip.

Hasek and mentor...won't happen. He's not that type.

Would love to see him make it.

Reckon he's better than a fair few of the current players.

Send a message via AIM to Viqsi
I want him to go to Boston and back up Tim Thomas.

Not out of some desire to sneakily snatch Rask away or anything; it's just that I've harbored this mad desire to see both of those guys playing on the same team ever since I first discovered the game of hockey.

Thanks, Howson, for cleaning up MacLean's toxic waste. Welcome, Kekalainen; let's get good things built!

47 years old, hasn't been in NHL since 2007-08... Seems like a long-shot, but good luck Dominator!

Jesus the man is 47 years old.... I mean his numbers in the KHL were respectable in his last year 2010-2011... Leafs are looking for a vet not a civil war vet....

I don't know. If he's really in good shape he might be able to spell MAF for 25 games.

Finish it where you started. It's time to come home, Dom, the team needs you.

I don't even care that he's 47 i'd love him back on the Wings as a backup even if he sucks

but that's only because he's my favorite Hockey player ever

I highly doubt he ends up back in the NHL at his age but who knows it's Hasek never count him out

He's got to be better than the likes of Roloson, Emery, Mason, at least.

I'd be thrilled to see him back in the league. He's only the greatest goaltender ever.

No-one is too old to play if they're body is up to. Would prefer him to Brent Johnson, that's for sure.
