He is way past his prime, playing a style that is not as effective to todays shooters as it once was.

He can easily be beaten. Hopefully we prove that tonight and Sunday night...
Lol..ok, you keep thinking that. My wife is a Devils fan, so I see a lot of Marty, in addition to watching the Rangers, so I will humbly disagree.

There's so much negativity around here. I just don't get it.

This very young team, with limited playoff experience and a shortage of skill players, have fought their way to round six of the ECF. Just one year ago they barely made the playoffs and never even came close to getting through WSH to the 2nd round.

They still have a 40/60 shot at making the SCF, but even if they don't progress they have made this year has been tremendous.

I wish people would aknowledge that and get behind the team, instead of wanting to trade half the players, fire the GM/coach/assistant and basically trash the team each time they post.

There will be a game 7 at MSG. I believe!

Thank you! I don't get all the negativity. Lol, how can you cheer for a team like the Rangers and be like this without dying of a stroke? Besides, of all times for us to be negative--and their have been PLENTY-- this is not one of them.

Folks happy that bickel is out and emminger is in are crazy

emminger was HORRIBLE in the last game he played. So much so that bickel got minutes on D.

Bickel might not be the best but he certainly has been playing way above emmingers level recently

The negativity, to me, is solely due to the fact that they're playing the Devils right now. It's hard to lose to a rival, especially when they are the 6 seed to your one seed. This year also seems like a rare opportunity, not just in that it is rare to get this far, but in that the road to the SCF did not go through Pittsburgh or Boston. There is reason for negativity when the season is considered in context.

That said, this team is more than capable of winning two in a row against the Devils. If they can bring the game they brought on Wednesday night for 60 minutes, they'll get the job done tonight. Let's go Rangers!

I don't understand. Emminger has been fine. Are you referring to Game 4 where Bickel got minutes on D because Del Zotto was benched?

bickel was moved back from offense to d in place of mdz when he was benched for not playing well, not for eminger...eminger is a veteran, been around the league and in playoffs, where bickel hasnt been, so this i see as a good move and im expecting a great game from eminger tonight!

I'll be working until 9ish so I wont be seeing the first but I hope it's a good one. I have faith in the team. I know they're tired but it's the freaking Cup. No reason to give up now when we're so close!

It would extremely sad if the Rangers season ended tonight. They went through the long trip to Europe. The HBO cameras. Winter Classic. 1st in their conference.

I have a horrible day so far. Someone stole my ipod this morning. It was in my pocket. Then it was gone.

Bickel got time on d because Del Zotto was benched. It had nothing to do with Eminger's play. In fact Eminger got near 10 minutes of ice time. So Bickel's 3-6 mins per game has been better than the 1 game Eminger played at forward and the one game Eminger played on defense in the playoffs?
