You mean like John Tavares and the New York Islanders.

Got about 1500 JT and G votes today. Looking to hit 4000 for the day.

This alliance is pretty much a win-win because if Giroux doesn't get it, best case scenario is JT on the cover.

But we can't look too far ahead

Is Rinne still leading Tavares? The last time I checked they tweeted he was

He is still ahead. There was something on twitter that said he was 9000 votes behind.

Oh wow

Are they allowed to give out numbers? I thought they could only say "X is beating Y" and leave out the numbers...maybe I'm wrong.

That's what I thought too. Could be false

The Islanders website has a "North America VS" campaign now.

I'm putting in a lot of Giroux and JT votes. Not sure why Pekka is still leading, maybe casual voters are voting for the last goalie? Will keep voting though.

Because the Pens and Preds have an official alliance. I'd bet Malkin is leading Giroux, too. We need you guys behind this as hard as we are if either Giroux or JT is going to make it to the finals. I'm not going to lie, I never particularly liked the Flyers, but god, I just ****ing hate the Penguins. Second best scenario is Giroux, for sure.

@EASPORTSNHL

Just got the ‪#NHL13Cover‬ update: @28CGiroux leads @malkin71_ ‪#Rinne‬ leads ‪#JT91‬ @nhlflyers @pghpenguins @nyislanders @predsnhl @BlackBerry
Winning half the battle, now we need Rinne to lose.

If Giroux passed Malkin, then soon enough JT should pass Rinne, let's keep those votes coming!

For some reason a lot of outsiders are backing Rinne specifically. Why Charlie Sheen is tweeting in support of him is beyond me.

Why can we multivote? This is weird. They make them leading alternately so people vote more, etc, to make more money/publicity? Smells fishy. Just like that "TSN play of the week" thing. I doubt our votes really change anything.

Keep voting. Also, possibly change the title to something involving voting for giroux for nhl 13 cover?

Keep voting guys!! Tomorrow will be the final day of voting, and if we're trailing tomorrow it's going to be tough to come back.

Put in as much votes as you can today and build off of it tomorrow. We can't let Shrek beat us.

Edit: Oh and remember to vote for JT as well.

Voted. I really hope at least one of CG/JT make it because I can't think of anything less appealing than a Malkin/Pekka final.

Took time off to show my support for all Flyers fans that are voting for our boy JT. I have been voting for Giroux for the last few rounds. I really wouldnt mind Giroux, seeing Malkin on there would be like seeing the Queen on there.

Back to voting.

Now that we got one in the lead, don't give up. Let's get JT past Rinne and we'll keep Giroux in his spot too.
