Fans who want to throw in the towel on the season go ahead but don't stay in the thread all night telling those of us who are going to believe until the final minute how it's over. If its over leave. Maybe you're right. Hell, you most likely are but I choose to acknowledge that our season is at least 40 minutes longer and hope for more than that.

i have never seen a team get out-coached more grossly than the rangers have been in this series. A LOT of this is on Torts. the inability to get your team to play hard out of the gate, the refusal to adjust to a hard forecheck with a new breakout. continuously giving guys who have done nothing to deserve playing time CRUCIAL minutes in games. im ridiculously disappointed in tortorella

What kind of player could they get in a trade by packaging Gaborik, Dubinsky + MDZ?

Hagelin being on the first line means we need more Top 6 help. He should be a 3rd/4th liner at this point in his career. Callahan is a borderline 2nd liner, most of his goals are garbage put backs. There are holes all over our offense b/c our 3rd (or rather 4th line B) and 4th lines are awful as well. So many holes that Torts 6-Goalie System has been able to cover up.

We won every Game 1 this postseason, correlates with winning a lot of games this season as we never had to play a series where the other team would adjust and Torts doesn't.

How does the 4th line even get out again after gliding back on the first goal. None of the 3 of them made any effort? Terrible pinches. Ansolutely brutal. Henrik should sue for lack of support tonight.

It's 2-0 after the first period. If we judge logically, it can be greatly assumed that if the Devils score but one more time, this game is over.

Probably because there is time torts only rolls 3 lines. If we had a legitimate 4th line (Devils) our forwards wouldn't be exhausted. If we had more D , McD and G wouldnt be playing 24/7

Really? If it was Ottawa that beat us in the Conference Finals, we'd be proud of where our boys went. It stings 1000x more since it's the Devils.

I think right now its up to Cally - obvious there is not a lot of gas left in the tank but maybe Cally can give them some pride.

Well don't even have a true top line. Hags is not a top 6 player, but he is being forced in that role. They need another LW who can create plays.

No arguement with the bottom six, its fairly dreadful. Boyle needs to go, but I have been saying that forever.

I am pretty calm about all this. I am happy the team made it as far as they did.
