Apparently he wants to play another season. Sounds like he has expressed his interest to a club, that is currently being kept a secret.

His last tour in NHL showed he doesn't have it anymore
No one will give him a contract ,, He might get an tryout from a team but doubtful a team will bring him over

Well, I'll give him one thing. I'd rather have him in the Rock than Carter Hutton.

why? Because Hutton earned that spot by playing amazing and stealing the job from Salak?

Because at least there's a slight possibility that Hasek could earn a spot in the NHL.

he lost his starting job in the NHL 5 years ago. He's going to be in better form now?
This isn't 1999 Dominik Hasek. This is 2012.

Saw Eddie last year in Grand Forks. Looks old and fat, but look what Brodeur is doing.

As much as Emery blows at times (most of the time), there's no way in hell this guy would do better. No. Should have just hung onto him before.

sorry guys, I would give the guy a chance to play again, just to see him flop all over the ice and tear a groin....
I think Hasek probably could still play 15-20 NHL games, but I would hate to be the team that inks him only to lose him second game of the preseason to a shattered groin

Why would we want the Jamie Moyer of hockey (age only, not talent)? Signing a 47 year old Hasek means one of two things to me and that: 1. The Hawks are lazy at figuring out what they want to do at Goalie or 2. FA Goalie is in pretty bad shape.
Either way, no thank you.

At 2:47 you can see perhaps one of the earliest examples of his back flop.
