Great series. Kudos to NJ. They were the better team this series.

The Rangers got valuable experience.

We, the fans, got an awesome ****ing ride.

Awful Florida half-rebuild team.
Defenseless Flyers with a headcase in net.
Overachieving Rangers with half a line-up full of overpaid ghosts.

If the Kings don't win in 5 or 6 I'll be shocked.
The 6th seed is ridiculous. The fact that the Devils were playing at their best going into the playoffs as a 6th seed against a team who they had way more points than was the perfect setup for them. Then the Flyers beating the Pens and it was clear sailing until this series. The Rangers were cooked, no matter how much Torts won't admit it, they truly were. They couldn't play their best for more than a period or so. They dropped off drastically in March, it's not a coincidence.

I hate your team but this needs to be said. Congrats on a great series. Your team has a bright future for sure, Mcdonagh is a star in tbe making and your young forwards are showing a lot of promise.

Its really annoying the **** out of me that the two teams that made it to the finals were the two teams that acted and dove like *****es. Teams are going to realize this and start diving non-stop and soon we are gonna be watching a sport like soccer or basketball. If the officiating isnt changed, this sport will straight up suck.
I don't blame the officials too much, it is a fast game and stuff is easily missed. You see a stick up high inches away from someones face who then shoots his head back like he was shot and you have to make that call. Also depends on the angle of the ref.
What I would like to see is for the league to go back and review obvious ones like the high stick or the Hagelin trip in the first. Tapping someone on the top of his skates will not make him fall over. Fine or suspend players for that kind of nonesense and it will end real fast.

Although that is pretty optimistic seeing as how the league can't even figure out how to deal with headshots.

it just maddens me how some of you have this "whatever" attitude
Who the hell do you think you are calling out people not being "real fans"...because you can't let it go everyone should feel the same as you? What are you 14?

One thing the Rangers have going for them is the young D. If they keep these guys together it will pay off a few years down the road.

With all that said and starting to process things I am really impressed with NJ. Even though Brodeur looks awkward in goal and their defense is suspect at times they have incredible forward depth and great team defense. It was a good battle but they got us off our game and their forecheck got to us. Maybe fatigue was an issue but I'm not making an excuse and won't use that.

Three unheralded moves he made this season helped NJ beat the Rangers in this series. He realized the team could use more size on its bottom six so he claimed Ryan Carter off waivers, traded for Ponikarovsky and signed Bernier. The Devils size at forward helped them pound the crap out of the Rangers in this series, and Carter scored some goals too. It was a tough series just to watch with the strength of their forecheck.

Lets Go Kings!

Yeah, we got beat by the better team in the series...1st line did not show, Richards had to deal with a ****** Gaborik and he couldnt score either and Marty came up big.

But screw the Devils and actually the Kings deserve their first Stanley Cup and alot of likeable guys there
(Kopitar, Quick)...Go deny this feeling again for the Devils fans and have them go fishing with us.

Lets go Kings.

Not gonna lie this is how I feel. Neither one of these teams was winning against the Kings. They have NO holes, while the Devils and the Rangers have more than a few.

Great season, proud of the Rangers, specifically for the round two win which were the hardest games they played.

Each fan reacts differently. I'm more like you, I take it hard at the end of the season. I can not take the 'Whatever' approach. But some people can. But I hate the people who say "It's only a game" "Why do you care so much your not on the team". What some people don't understand that a lot of us LOVE this team, and live and die with them. THis is MORE then just a game to us, I can't just go to sleep and say **** it, what ever lets move on with my life. It will take me a week or so. Again most of us LOVE our teams, and its more then a game to us.
