exactly, the problem isn't their play, it's how they are used

This X 100000000000

The 4th line isn't the problem. The fact that we have two of them is the problem.

Feds won't be re-signed. I don't think Boyle is back either. He has been serviceable but it's time to move on. Dubi is tough to move he makes $4 million py & he is coming off a terrible year.

I think they need to stop screwing with Amisinov & let him play center, become the 3rd line checking center on this team & let him come into his own. I think he has alot of upside. If we hang on to Dubi leave him on the wing & that's the end of it.

And people don't really understand that.

All the blame Gaborik is laughable. yeah the dude is soft and scared to do the dirty work. He scored a few big goals in the playoffs and we wouldn't have made it this far. How bout crappy Dubi that nobody wanted to trade, and all the other duds from 3rd line and down. Step, Feds (except tonight finally), AA, Rupp, Boyle (minus Ottawa), and all the other tired *****es. We don't need ****ing Parise. we need Kreider for a full year. He will be better than Parise.

Exactly...and, frankly, the Pack line was the best line out there tonight. That should be your shutdown line going forward. They need a RW next to Kreider and Stepan, and someone who complements Richards and Gaborik on the 1st line...I'm not sure if Hagelin is the long term answer in that department.

Sather needs to find a way to make his "James Neal" trade. I'm not sure which forward around the league is that player.

IF you listen hard. You can hear all 9 Devils fans rejoicing. Can't wait for the sweep from LA or 5 games at best.

Salary makes it hard to keep him.

He looked like the Dubinsky of old the past two games. But he needs to score. He makes 4.2 M. He can't score a mere ten times with that paycheck.

I'd trade him for a cheaper, faster player if I could.

Still opposed to trading Dubs. It's a risk, but we could be trading a 60 point player. like when we let prospal walk

The more I see of Stepan, the more I'm left a little disappointed. Love his potential, but the voids in his game are killing him. He should spend the entire off-season running, sprinting, and conditioning.

IMO, the Rangers have most of the pieces. They just need a little tweaking.

Neither am I.

Honestly, i'd SERIOUS look to deal him. His contract is up after next season, and I don't see him topping his season. Explore a trade with him while his value is at it;s highest. I agree, it's the asonine people wanting him traded for a bag of pucks, or better yet buy him out.

Here's to a shorter off-season than we are accustomed to around these parts.

A really tough way to go out, but a few defensive breakdowns and here we are, waiting for the entry-draft, free agency, and hopefully the start of the 12/13 NHL season on time.

Keep the core together Slats, and let's get back to the ECF soon, I want to taste victory.

IDK if I trade Dubinsky. He had an off year, but can you really dump him after one bad season? Do you give him a few months into next season?

Sure he should be traded for the right package, but I can't imagine that his value is too high right now.

Boyle needs to go people. I said it time and time again, he is a dreadful skater and forechecker. His removal with a faster more skilled third liner would help this team out by light years. He single handedly kills any type of transition or offensive pressure.

I expect this offseason is going to be a massive facelift among our forward corps.
I'd drive Boyle to the airport tonight if i could. He suxs! Did you see him on that two on one? Torts post game said clearly we can't be satisfied and that he worried about some players... changes to come...

You trade Gaborik for Iginla! he'll bring 30g and he'll be a force in the playoffs. Doan would be good, Clowe, Ott...

Get rid of redundant players that can't do anything if they're not scoring like Anisimov, who friggin useless.

Dubinsky is good as gone! get outta here.

Im actually more concerned about the impending lockout.

Let's not forget all this talk can be moot considering the league could have it's 2nd lockout in less than a decade.
