Poni seems to be doing pretty good as well; I think he got an assist on the game-winner tonight.
Tallinder is injured, he hasn't played in the playoffs.

Best word I can use for the Devils I think would be crafty. They are better than they look on paper, but if the Kings play the same way they have over the past two months, they will win. But don't underestimate them.

Melrose just called the Kings an "offensive machine". WOW. He also predicted Kings in 6

This is key. As long as the Kings don't do that, I think they'll have a good chance.

If we can just play our game that we've been playing and stop Kovalchuk and parise, I think we have a great chance! Man gonna be a very hard fought series for sure. Devils have the deepest forward group out of the four teams which makes me worried a bit.

I think your offense will exploit their crappy defense and goaltending much better than our limp offense could and you have Quick in net! Good luck, guys!

I don't think Sutter will let that happen. In saying that, I am not saying that this will be easy by any means.

The key to beating the Devils is to wear them down with 4 lines. Bring it physically shift after shift. The Kings need to continue to bring it, which I completely expect.

The neatest thing about the celebration video from the last series was the locker room. There was some music, a little yelling, but when the cameras were in there shortly after that, it was quiet and back to business.

I agree. People have kind of forgotten about Volchenkov. Dude is a gamer.

Kings have yet to face a team with the forward skill that NJ posses. STL/PHX were weak up front, Vancouver was without Daniel and the rest of their forwards are overrated anyways.

This series is gonna be tough, and Quick is making me a little nervous right now (overplaying & going down too early).

I could've sworn the new NBC deal included that all SCF games are on the main network.

I never understood why a portion of the series had to be on cable TV. Why couldn't they have them all on network TV?

Had a similar one before playing PHX, because one of the east series went 7.

EDIT: This layoff will be 1 day longer.

But still has 18 points in 17 games. He's gliding back a bit on D because of the back injury like on the Rangers first goal tonight but he's still a threat offensively

HAHAHAHAHA.

The fact that this team can be considered and IS an offensive machine is ****ing mindblowing, I'm not used to that at all.

They had 6 days off before the Blues series and 7 days off before the Coyotes series. It hasn't been a problem before. I'm sure Devils fans are concerned about playing so many games.

Layoff or no layoff, the best team will win and I believe the best team is the Kings.

That's just silly. Phoenix was never a threat.

Devils are very deep and will be able to come back more than st. Louis and Phoenix could. Kings need to get some goals on the PP to give them some separation.

Devils and Kings are #1 and #2 in 5-on-5 F/A.
