Girardi's Brain Dead Play in OT, COST US THE GAME!

Nhl network was breaking down the play in slow motion...

As the scrum ensues and bodies are falling around lundqvist,
Danny G. skates AROUND THE NET TO THE OTHER SIDE LEAVING LUNDQVIST EXPOSED ON THE LEFT SIDE FOR HENRIQUE TO KNOCK IT IN!!!

he never gets that chance if Giardi doesn't make that play.

Say what you want about lack of scoring and you're right, but for a defensive team, our defense lost these last three games...

That and LUndqvist being average

Honestly, I won't complain about any Dman on our team that isn't Stu Bickel.

Our forwards just can't get it done, and our D has WAY too much pressure on them every game.

Yep...he and the whole team were brain dead. Cracked under pressure...but you know what?

When you play as much as DG did IT HAPPENS.
Next time...get better back-end defenseman so he isn't logging so many minutes...and get better scoring so we can put games away and series away SOONER.

all he had to do was stand there, why skate around the net to the other side leaving hank exposed? It's just a beyond bad play.

watch it again when you have the stomach for it. Sorry if someone always has to be a hero in your eyes for you to sleep well at night.

It's a scramble on a loose puck in OT. To blame anyone for something like that is really stretching. We lost because the Devils were the better team in the series. That simple.

I don't care what the inside-the-net camera showed! From where the ref was standing, the play should've been blown dead!

I'm not saying it was aliens, but it was a bad no-call!

'Nuff said.

No whistle was the right call. The puck was lose and went between Hank's legs and ended up on Henrique's stick.

puck bounced over to the left through the scrum...Girardi already saw that there were a few players there. It sucks, but I am not killing him now

So while Staal was breakdancing on the goal line, Girardi was supposed to man the left and right side of the net?

As depressed as I am right now, don't bash Girardi. Dude is and will be a stud for us. Everyone makes a bone-headed play. No one is perfect.

Next season, a little payback should be in order.

He's partially responsible for this.

You know who I'm talking about....

The regular season doesn't equate to the playoffs.

They deserved home ice for Game 7's, which they capitalized on. Otherwise they didn't deserve squat.

Girardi played almost 30 minutes tonite and over 500 for the playoffs and was 2nd in the league in ice time during the regular season. Girardi was fried! He just had a brain fart in OT. That being said, HENRIQUE WAS HIS MAN AND WHERE THE HELL WAS HE GOING???????

Every team has injuries. If the Flyers had a healthy Pronger they would have beaten the Devils. However, imagine Sauer playing 15 minutes a game. Our 6 D would have been sick.
