This is one of the single most disgusting posts I've ever seen. He stole both of the games we won in this series. This series turned when the team didn't show up for the start of any of the games.

How does our complete no show star goal scorer deserve less blame than Hank? Hank won us two games. If Gaborik had won us two games we'd be in the finals.

luckily, for a goalie, they can stay at the top of their game well into their thirties. some might say they get better with age- hasek style.

For some reason, videos on blueshirtsunited.com NEVER load on my computer.

Does anyone have any other video links to the post-game interviews? I was too dejected to watch immediately after the game, but will probably want to watch them tomorrow.

if you think about it, we got to watch our boys play for 20 extra games. That's pretty badass.

Personally, before he's done and barring injury, I think McDonagh is a potential Hall-of-Famer. His trade was the steal of the century and the reason we improved so much in two years (got rid of a horrendous contract and gained a stud).
Agree! McDonagh is just scratching the surface of what he could end up being which is a top 3 defenseman in the entire league. He is a freakish athlete who is built like a brick ****house, skates like the wind and plays with incredible heart and determination. Now if only Michael Sauer can get healthy and make a return to our lineup, Tim Erixson can make the team and Dylan McIIrath's development can be accelerated, then we can be in great hands defensively for a very long time.

Offensively? Now that's another story which has to be addressed this summer; bigger bodies and more talent pul-eze!!

Agree wholeheartedly but you don't necessarily have to replace a 40 goal regular season scorer with another 40 goal guy; the Devils didn't have any 40 goal scorers but had 3 guys with 30+.
Anyway, Gaborik is a playoff "no show" and I would do everything in my power to find a suitor for him.
You can't win when your "supposely" best players(highest paid anyway) are "no shows" in the most important series of the playoffs. That includes you Mr. Richards!

I actually believe a lot of goalies get better with age ... they learn.

He was obviously concerned with some of the players that didnt raise the compete level. I thought that was glaringly obvious. Everytime he said it, regarding the young guys who struggled, all I could think was Stepan. He needs to radically transform his skating in order to be effective, imo. I have a feeling some of the young guys might be moving on after this year.
