Those Devils are tenacious as hell along the boards. But I think the Kings have been showing that same style. Both teams have some young guns stepping up and goalies playing well. Two captains that do a lot of their talking by the example they set on ice. It should be a good series and a great series will be when the Kings win this whole thing! Go Kings!!!

People are underestimating the Devils. This is probably Brodeur's last time in the finals. If you don't think he's hungry for one last title, then you're delusional. Patrick Roy (arguably best goalie of all-time) beat us in '93, Brodeur (arguably best goalie of all-time) playing us in 2012. This is going to be a very good SC Finals, I can't wait, but don't sleep on the Devils, all I'm saying

"On paper, this has the makings of a great matchup: The Devils play very well at home, while the Kings are flawless on the road; the Devils offense vs. the Kings defense; and the fact that both teams hit like battering rams.

Here are five keys for the 2012 Stanley Cup Final between the Devils and Kings:"

The Devils scare me. I think Scuderi and Mitchell will be big factors in this series tho. Have no idea what will happen but I believe in this team.

I have much dislike for Kovy and Brodeur, would love to win the cup and beat them in the process.

I wanted NYR in the finals because of some great storylines, but mostly because I liked the Kings chances against thm when compared to Jersey. Something about Jersey just worries me. I guess I've just seen that franchise win too much in the post season in the past 18 years to take them lightly. As much as I love what DL has done here the past few years, Lou Lam is the "dean" of NHL GM's and I've never bet against his teams in the past.

Everything on paper and recent performances points to the Kings rolling over the Devils. But the abused Kings fan in me is a bit uneasy.

What is the cost of your upper-level seats? We just found out ours are $250

If we can manage to take Game 1, I think we win it. If not, well then this team is going to have to battle back for the first time in a series this playoffs.

From reading the main boards it sounds like the devils fans don't know anything really about the kings.

Not even a little surprised. Eastern conference fans know little to nothing about west coast teams.

I can tell. Its really annoying when they compare their inflated play off stats to ours. We have played much tougher teams.

Try all I can, but I just can't hate the Devils.

All subject to change of course.

I don't necessarily agree with that. It might just be me preparing myself for disappointment, but I don't think this is gonna be easy.

whew! I feel a bit better.

Who would've thought that you would ever see the words "peter harrold" and "puck creativity" in the same sentence!

Correction, we got fooled into thinking that they were 250... They are actually $303 and there are none available!
