But,he would not move De Haan for a mid first round pick.
1.Snow is losing 4 vets off his defense, to unrestricted free agency this summer.
2.Snow is working under payroll restrictions,making it tough to make trades or sign top ufas.
3.21 yr old De Haan is Snow's top blueline prospect.
4.After 1 yr in the AHL De Haan is nhl ready(or darn close to it).
5.The 15th overall pick falls into the 3rd tier group,behind Nail and picks 2nd-8th.
It's 2-4 yrs from reaching the NHL.
6.Trading a 21 yr old for an 18 yr old, is the exact opposite of what Snow has tried to do at the last two drafts.
