They're going to bring Davis out for his second inning of work in the bottom of the 17th to try to preserve a 3 run lead. lol

Eduardo Nunez might be the worst defensive infielder I've ever seen

And it's not like he brings much value with his bat. Completely useless.

Just got back from the game. Had to leave early to catch the Rangers. Good game though, Hughes was brilliant.

Also, Happy 87th to Yankees legend Yogi Berra!!

Giving this a bump since I'm sure baseball talk will pick up with the season over.

Metsies playing well of late. Admittedly haven't payed much attention so it was needless to say how stunned I was at today's lineup and that the team was over 500 with that and their bullpen.

Argh! The dreaded baseball bump. I'd knew it would come to this.

Anyway, I'm pulling for the other Rangers to take it this year. I love Ron Washington and Hamilton is my favorite baseball player (along with D. Wright of course).

Dominant performance today by Johan and the Mets love these new dimensions at Citi. Nickeas, Hairston, and Rottino the unlikely HR hitters today

Mets remind me so much of the 05-06 Rangers it's ridiculous; blue collar team of unknown young players and one star who everyone expects nothing out of but is playing competitive.

They're gonna hang in there but they need 1 bat and 1 arm to really go anywhere. A Chone Figgins like contact hitter who can steal. Any suggestions?

Well LGM! Who would have thought Nickeas would hit a grand slam?

****, who thought Santana would be this good?

Who thought Wright would be hitting near .400 at this point in the season?

Who thought we'd be 5 games above .500?

Who thought Davis would be getting sent down in favor of Bay (we all know it's coming)?

This is an ODD year.

The Mets good play won't last long. That lineup is bad.

A starter to replace the loss Pelfrey is the obvious one. They're basically giving up a start every five days. I know Chris is is re-habbing at Port St. Lucie, and it looks like the plan is that neither Harvey or Wheeler will be rushed. It would also be nice to get both Tejada and Thole back. Maybe another lefty in the pen?

Johan is just insane. I can't imagine how good this guy was in his prime. He's a joy to watch.

Rooting for the other Rangers team. Fills an empty gap right now.

Haven't really had a baseball team, just watch games when I have free time and became a fan of individual players.

Leaning towards Dodgers because of Kershaw.

He had like a .340 avg. last year. Wasn't that long ago.
