The one cool thing is that when we are going to be away the jersey color combo's are going to look great on TV. The devils red home jersey against our road whites will look sweet!

Good luck guys! Both teams have deservedly made it this far. Both teams are incredibly skillful and dangerous. Really, anything can and will happen. I wish you the best of luck, and may the best team win.

Seeing Gagne, Richards, and Carter on the ice will bring some Devils-Flyers passion out of the fans, expect to hear some chants directed at those three.

Otherwise, I look forward to seeing the best team win, and if the Kings win it in our building, I'll be cheering. We got through the Flyers and the Rangers, and that alone has meant a lot for our fanbase. LET'S GO DEVILS!

Ryan Smyth himself? Then again, I don't know if the Kings would be where they're at if Smyth and his hefty cap hit was still on the roster.

Harrold has played well for us. Is he Scott Niedermayer, no, but he's been very solid. Sometimes it takes a guy a few years to develop. willie Mitchell was a scrub for us in 2001 and look at him now. Same with Rob Scuderi. He was a scrub with Pittsburgh till the year they went to the finals and lost to Detroit. All of a sudden he became quite solid.

While the Devils had a tough series against Florida (and Brodeur looked very susceptible), their play has improved as the playoffs has advanced. Although they point to the Flyers and Rangers as being tough opponents, I think they benefited from facing a weak Flyers squad that can't play a lick of defense and also expended all of its energy against Pittsburgh. The Rangers also looked like a team that was burnt out after they went through 14 games in the first two rounds against Ottawa and Washington.

The Devils are also a little beat up, so the Kings have to take advantage and hit them hard and often. Whoever comes on top in the physical battles is going to end up winning the Cup.

I am somewhat dating a Devils fan (yeah, idk why either). I have already warned him we will stop talking completely if this series does not go well. He might think I'm joking, but I'm hoping we don't have to find out.

It's going to be an intense match up. I never thought any series this year would be easy, but I am expecting this to be the hardest. There is a reason why the Devils have made it as far as they have.

I also expect us to come out victorious. I think the hunger in our team is just to great to not go all the way this year. We have the talent, we have the heart, we have the coach, we have the goalie. I'm hoping to see our boys make some history.

Go Kings Go!

This series depends on 3 things IMO:

1) How well Broduer plays.
2) Devils PP vs Kings PK.
3) The play of Mike Richards and Jeff Carter.

The Kings 3rd line was clutch against the Yotes, but at the same time the 4th line of the Devils has been clutch as well against the Rangers. I think they negate each other.

I agree that Harrold isn't a scrub. I actually saw the potential in Harrold with us but with our d-core being so deep, he just never got a fair shake.

FWIW, I give you guys a lot of credit for making it to the finals and I don't expect an easy series. I can see this series going 6-7 games.

Good luck!

Kings can't read press clippings:

cuz the Devils are a good team,

great scorers in Kovulchuk and Parise especially,

Brodeur won't choke due to his tons of experience,

so Kings had better not take the Devils lightly,

too much talk lately about how great the Kings are, that they can't lose on the road, etc. etc.,

which worries me a bit,

but Sutter will have them ready as he always does,

bottom line is that our forechecking is the best in hockey now, our goal tender is better than theirs,

and our overall D will shut their high-powered O pretty well,

while their D is not nearly as good as ours,

we have more depth on our forward lines and on D,

so we should at least split the first two road games,

and we win in 5 or 6 games...

Go Kings Go !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is at once the worst and best English sonnet I have ever read. Your iambic pentameter needs work, but poetry celebrating the mightiness of the Kings cannot be denied!

I have a feeling that richards line will get exposed if penner is out there.

The one thing the devils do is make your forwards play defense. Everyone talks about how the flyers have No D which is not true, its that our forwards had to play much more defensive and were unable to adjust.

The kings have had the luxury of playing against some offensively challenged teams especially st. louis. The kings forwards were able to dictate play and focus on offense. The devils do a great job of putting pressure on each line out there. I think one of the reasons why gaborik was so quite on offense last series is because he is use to cherry picking a bit and breaking out for a one on one. That obviously didnt happen last series.

I want the kings to win for richards, gagne, carter, and quick who is undoubtedly the best goalie in the league. Kopitar is finally getting his recognition and penner is turning into the next hartnell...great guy on and off the ice. I like the kings alot but if my life was on it id take the devils in six sadly. I dont know what it is but that team plays so well together its like there are 6 men on the ice at all times. Good luck and I hope I am wrong.
