Adler Mannheim has signed G Dennis Endras to a 3-year contract.

http://translate.google.ca/translate...26prmd%3Dimvns

Endras, 26, has been under contract to the Minnesota Wild for the past two seasons, but has played in the AHL, German Elite League, and SM-liiga during that span. He is scheduled to become a RFA on July 1st.

trades can always happen

a team can resign a UFA/RFA whenever they want to

a UFA can sign with another team on July first

A site called Belarus Hockey claims Brock Trotter, who split his one-year deal between Montreal and Phoenix, has signed with Dinamo Riga of the KHL. Trotter, 25, was traded from Montreal to Phoenix with a 7th round pick for Petteri Nokelainen and Garrett Stafford last October. There's more potholes that you need to steer clear from on that list, then there are gems. Steer clear of Whitney, Jagr, PAP, Smyth, etc. All of which will be seeking far more than they're worth.

IMO, guys like Bickel, Jurcina, and Harding are going to be great bang for the buck kind of guys.

^ Not Jurcina, he was a brutal pylon. Might be injuries causing slowness but I would've taken Reese over him from NYI. Harding sorta struggled with playing a higher number of games so I'm not sure if he's ready yet.

I do agree that Jurcina sucked at times, but he made a difference for us anyway you look at it. Without him in the line up, we had no big bodys on the back end and one less booming shot from the point. Overall, he is decent.

Surprised about Pouliot. It seemed like he fit in quite well with Phoenix in the playoffs (he got into 8 playoff games!), I'm surprised he'd give up on the NHL now.

per Elite Prospects
Timo Pielmeier, whose played in the AHL & ECHL this past season while under contract to the Anaheim Ducks and New Jersey Devils, has signed with Landshut of the German Elite League. Pielmeier, 22, had a GAA of 2.72 and a Save PCT of .901 in 33 games with Elmira of the ECHL. The 3rd round pick (83rd overall) of the San Jose Sharks, began the season in the Ducks system before being dealt to New Jersey along with Kurtis Foster for Mark Fraser, Rod Pelleyand this year's 7th round pick. He is scheduled to become a RFA on July 1st.

David Aebischer, who played for Winnipeg's AHL affiliate in St. John's on an AHL deal, has signed with Raperswill of Switzerland. Aebsicher, 34, had a GAA of 2.86 and a Save PCT of .895 this past season with the IceCaps. He was originally a 6th round pick, 161st overall, of the Avalanche in 1997. He is not under contract to any NHL team.

He has an out clause in his contract for a NHL 1 way offer.

Regardless if Tim Thomas takes a year off or not, he will still be under contract for the 2012-13 season. He won't be UFA until July 1, 2013.

Per Elite Prospects, Teemu Laakso, who played 55 games with Milwaukee of the AHL along with 9 for Nashville, has signed with Severstal Cherepovets of the KHL. Laakso, 24, was a 3rd round draft pick, 78th overall, in 2005.
