It could've been a huge jinx thread, but when I started watching this kid in the O I knew he was going to be good. He just brings so much to the table. The sky is the limit for him in the coming years..

Actually all games played on a field while running with or kicking a ball and without the use of sticks is technically "football". The term "football" comes from England and is for games played on foot, as opposed to riding horses like Polo.
Soccer is short for "AsSOCiation football". There is also Rugby football, Australian rules football, Gaelic football, American football (aka Grid Iron football).
