Tired of seeing ex-Flyers win the cup when they weren't man enough to win it in a city where it matters, so Devils.

Kings, I don't understand how any Flyers fan could root for the Devils. Personally I think Richie and Gags deserve a cup (did Gagne play enough games this season?).

I agree with this sentiment, although I actually hate the Penguins worse. I respect the Devils, but I still hate them.

Go Kings! I would like to see Mike Richards have some success and same with Gagne. Jeff Carter can SABOD. I still wear my Mike Richards jersey on game days, don't have enough $ to fork out a Claude Giroux jersey.
screw the X-Flyers. It won't make me feel any better watching any of them hold the Cup over their heads. matter of fact, it will make me feel like crap.
For me, Kings AINEC. Can't stand the Devils and if they won it'll anger me more than if Carter has his name on the cup.
Who cares if the Flyers would then have lost to the cup champs? I don't see that as a badge of honor. Fat lot of good that badge has been over the previous years. Plus it may look good for the Atlantic Division, but it still doesn't do bupkis for the Flyers who haven't had it since '75. I'd equate this to the Eagles in the NFC East after NYG won a Super Bowl and they haven't won squat since 1960.
I'd rather see a team with a few unsavory characters off-ice playing for a franchise that hadn't ever won a cup that's been around for a while win it than the Devils.
Devils have earned my respect. Just can't root for the Kings, I've tried all season. Gagne being hurt didn't help, and Carter showing up destroyed any chance of it happening.
Kings win = offseason full of experts, message board "experts", writers, negadelphians, etc. questioning whether or not we made the right decision.
I'm not even sure Gags would get his name engraved on the Cup.
This is true, he is seven regular season games shy of being eligible to have his name on the cup should the Kings win. He would have to play at least one game in the finals. But can a team petition to have a player engraved?
As I have gotten older, I have to agree with this statement. Other than the Dallas Cowboys, I dont really hate any other pro sports team.

Living so close to Disney I have come across hockey fans from all over, and we always get along very well. Mainly because we both realize we are privy to knowledge many other sports fans just do not understand, we are fans of the greatest sport on Earth.
Hockey above all. Sure some may blast each other and call each other names, but that is here on a message board. I promise you all the "hated" rivals are really great people in person. As long as you get them away from a message board, or the stadium.

Devils winning would continue the streak of the Flyers losing to the eventual Cup winner. Hate the Devils and wouldn't want to see them win for a ton of reasons and I don't care either way really but I would like to see the Devils win if only for that reason.
I understand not exactly rooting for ex-players to win the cup. But rooting for the team that, before the recent day penguins rivalry, was most likely our biggest rival for quite some time is even worse.
Kings. As annoying as it would be to see Richards and Carter get one for another team before the Flyers win one, it would be more annoying to listen to Devils fans talk about how great they are. Plus Gagne and Hextall with their names on the Cup could never be a bad thing.
I hate the Devils but it's in my best interest if they win.

I could never root for the Devils. Are people really ****ing serious about rooting for a heated rival because the Kings have Jeff Carter? or Mike Richards? that they would root for a hated division rival? give me a ****ing break.
