It seems to me that the number is higher than 2, which is kind of annoying.

You've managed to knock someone off my shortlist in just about every round but mainly guys that were in the middle of the pack, so not too much damage done. WeThreeKings is enemy #1 for me this year.

I think Ive enraged quite a few people this draft.

I managed to cut the feet from you and Kyle West.

Meanwhile Garo has been giving me fits this year.

I have myself @187, with Calgary (Grant) picking before me. I could be mistaken, but maybe he had two teams picking back to back and only made 1? I PM'd him this morning to "confirm", but no reply.

Who was picked 186th? I only see:

"With the 184th pick, the Islanders select goaltender Corbin Boes
Detroit is proud to select Kevin Duane from Brunwsick HS with the 185th pick"

WTF?

With the 187th overall pick, the Ducks select defenseman Marcus Bohman of the Eliteserien's MODO organization.

"We believe that Marcus has a lot to offer, and brings with him decent size, leadership, rounded skillset, and the ability to contribute in any game situation. We've only seen a little of what he has been able to do since being called up to the Eliteserien in February, but we like what we see. Having been very productive as an under-ager in the U20 ranks, we hope to see some of that offense come through at higher levels."

edit: Crimson PM'd.

With the 188th pick, the Minnesota Wild select defenseman Jesse Graham!

"As an offensive-minded defenseman, Graham's bread and butter is his skating and great hockey IQ when he has the puck. Using his speed, he can either rush the puck to the net or open some lanes for some nice passes. With the good comes the bad, as his offensive-minded attitude makes him prone to being out of position in the defensive zone. On top of that, Graham will need to work more on his core strength as well as winning more battles for the puck - a problem he seems to have due to his 5'11/166 pound frame."

Next GM has been contacted.

Will make my pick only around 10-11PM. I know I've said that already last time and didn't, but I will not forget this time around.

next owner PMed
Baffled me that he wasn't picked last year. I wanted the Habs to pick him in the 3rd.

What, Kossila and Kallela too old for you?

But seriously, I've been tempted to take take a flyer on one of the top PPG guys from that league with one of these picks (I did take Ikonen, I guess). When you see where guys like Teräväinen and Pokka have been slotted, why not, right? Like a lot of them, size and physicality might be as big of an obstacle as their willingness to attempt a jump to North America(n hockey/life).

picks, from the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies, forward Sven Andrighetto. At this point of the draft, it's great to be able to pick a super skilled offensive forwards with great speed, great hands and great offensive IQ that Sven represents. Would need to perfect the rest of his overall game and....grow up.

Next GM is PM'ed.
