He's cheering for Shawinigan aka a rival team when he played in the Q.

"Fans" who bring horns are by far my biggest pet peeve in sports, keep that at the soccer stadium no one else wants to hear it.

A little perspective...

http://stateofhockeynews.com/2012-ar...orial-cup.html

I wrote this to provide a little commentary as to how Wild fans should interpret the 2012 Memorial Cup. Yes, it more or less focuses on Coyle and Phillips, but not all of it. Enjoy!

Sadly, I couldn't watch this one. Was there a lot of "Host Team Bias" being thrown around?

See how many games they had to play in 3-4 days.

True - I can just imagine people complaining. Hell, people were complaining about Shawinigan even being in the tournament.

I cant even begin to take the Memorial Cup seriously with that playoff format. Good for Shawinigan, they had to win the games and did, but a team getting a free pass to the final 4 is a joke.

This year is really the first time i have watched CHL games, and I now have to laugh at the NCAA/CHL debate that comes up alot on the prospects board. Anybody who thinks any of those teams could hang with the UM, UND, BC's are out to lunch.
