Really?

Because it's like the first time it's happening with the club.

We have made the playoffs at least twice before.

Oh and by the way, if WILDhockeyfan plays C then BHoke can play RW?

We need a guy who is pure offense though. Fel's even better on D than on offense so he often saves my ass when I'm about to get it handed to me by some jerk with 1000 games and 99 deking. But we also need quick breakaways and offensive flair.

That being said, there is also another option which I thought of yesterday: Start. Playing. Pure. Trap. We need the first goal for that to succeed, though, or quick counter-attacks. Fill the neutral zone, and always carry the puck to the red line and just dump it to the offensive zone. One guy on forecheck in their blueline or something.

Well, I'd say I should be ready to play in about 11-12 hours.

Let's hope we won't be eliminated in the 1st round.

Sorry but I won't be on tomorrow. Working with my dad the entire day tomorrow. Probably for the best though. My guy has such low stats that he gets knocked off the puck so easily, gets knocked down easily, and just loses the puck in general.

Indeed.

The schedule sounds good by the way. It's only 9-10pm in Finland at that time. I still need to visit a doctor today, I have an appointment at 10.40am which is in 1,5 hours. I hope it goes well and they can find the issue and hopefully even fix it. Or at least get me stronger painkillers.

Oh, and we need EVERYONE to participate today!

Nah, you're doing good. You can only improve your stats by actually playing.

Disappointed to hear you can't make it, as I said previously we need everyone to participate. Oh well, I hope BHoke can make it at least. And Pajicz! We need you!

Well the playoffs last for a couple days don't they? I work with my dad tomorrow and the day after tomorrow but I could make it that night (Tues night).

Did you make that avatar?

There is no way you made that avatar, it is way too homestuck-ish and I am pretty sure you have not read homestuck yet.

Then we ran across some glitch goal exploiting pieces of **** from the lower depths of hell itself. It was first annoying, then frustrating, then actually already funny and it passed the level where it stopped being fun and started to be ****ing irritating.

I've never heard Fel so pissed though.

Sorry I haven't been on the boards much, my computer has been on the fritz and terrible timing with the playoffs as I am on vacation now.

Sorry to hear that we lost, but once I come back hopefully we can get more than 2 people in a game at once!

I'll play anything you guys want me to, doesn't really matter to me. I enjoy playing a playmaker C though...I like to dish the biscuit

I don't even know where I should play anymore. I've had the most success at D but I've had flashes of brilliance at center. Sounds like BHoke is our center though. After I work and work out tomorrow I'll spend the next day or two and try to get my guy up to at least an 80 overall. My game freezes so damn much though it's going to be a pain in the ass.

You should make yourself an offensive D-man, then. I need a D partner, and I'm your typical stay-at home D (unless we are losing and it's the last minute, then I'll join the rush).

Oh and by the way, I'm 89 overall despite being on lower level than Fel.

I'm about to reach legend level 3 (85% done) so I will probably get a little boost from 86 to 88 overall. Who knows...

I'm three wins from superstar level 3 IIRC.

Yeah, it's ridiculously easy to have a properly good defensive D. I have 99 def awareness, shot blocking and stick defense, something like over 90 checking, 88 or so slap shot power, 90 strength and some good other stats as well.

That being said, I need better agility for the player (already have 9" blades), better slap shot accuracy, better passing and maybe bit of a boost to my speed or acceleration as well.

By the way, does NHL 12 EASHL pro carry over to NHL 13?

I'd think so considering it did it with NHL 11-12.

Actually, I just read on EA's blog that the pros itself didn't carry over but the stats did. That's why some guys have ridiculous stats like 3000 points or so.

You only got a minor boost to your new pro (something like being able to start from amateur 3 if you were superstar/legend at max).

My guy is already an offensive d-man. I've got something like 5 goals and 20 assists in 20 games as an offensive d-man. Should probably re-name him to Gilbert or Spurgeon though since Heatley is a forward.
