He tweeted and his friend tweeted that he was skating back in April and looked great.

Not sure., reports have been mixed. Have been reports that he is healthy and working out, reports that he is still hurt, even some reports that he may have whiplash and not a concussion.

No clue what is really going on.

I think the KHL is more forward about their players than the Avalanche

Hope so.

Hoping he can come into training camp and put those injuries behind him.

I think the KGB used to be more forward about their agents than Avs about their players...

You guys are acting like other NHL teams can't wait to release the medical files of their players to the public.

While we are exaggerating a lot you have to admit there are definitely more transparent teams in the NHL.

Doesn't he work out with O'Reilly during the summer? Maybe once we hear/see more about O'Reilly we can gain some insight on Hishon.

You'd think they'd say he's skating and looking great if he were to be used as trade bait...

That's counterproductive. Last thing heard about was he had a concussion and that's all that was known. The interested team would have to assess Hishon as still having a concussion and him becoming healthy unlikely because there was no other news on him.

It would only make sense if a team was interested in him, wanted him part of a package and the Avs didn't want to sell him low.

Regardless, this will have set him back miles. He'd need at least a season or two playing for The Monsters. He, along with Sgarbossa would be a pretty good one, two punch imo.

Good to hear. Strangely cautious sounding... Gave no sign of when he'll be back. I bet he'll make training camp though.

Reading the prospect thread he credit Andy Macdonald for helping him. Funny, didn't Dater a couple of weeks ago say he had a set back?

Glad to hear. I hope he fully recovers.
Besides him and Sgarbossa there is not much in terms of forward prospects. And he always seemed like a fierce competitor.
Would love to see him tearing it up with his buddy ROR and Landy if Downie needs a break .
