I would label Perry as "untouchable", the kid is a gamer.

What about taking out Marchand and putting in Peverly. I like the little ball of HATE! or MARSHMOT.

I would turn that down. Players like Perry just don't come along that often, and nothing in that offer wows me. Not to mention that downgrading from Fowler to Boychuk isn't a move the team wants to make.

To point out the obvious--to get Perry and Fowler in a package, Boston would absolutely have to start with Seguin and then add some secondary assets.

Obviously it wasn't a serious proposal.

Secondary pieces added for Perry and Fowler? Ya dream on.

Yeah, I didn't phrase that very clearly.

By "secondary," I meant good young middle-six / second-pairing (but not top line/ top-pairing) NHL players or good (but not blue-chip) prospects and picks (Boston doesn't figure to land in top-10 land, so 1sts are on the table too).

But, honestly, it was just a polite way of saying "Start with Seguin and add."

The answer you're looking for is in the other Krejci thread. What was said there applies here.

The value isn't far off or anything but the Ducks would have to receive insane overpayment to move Ryan. Think Krejci + Hamilton. Otherwise we'll stick with the plan and try and find someone to play with Ryan.

People have to understand, the Ducks are going to use EXTREME caution with the idea of moving Ryan due to Perry's contract status and Selanne's soon to be retirement. There's a decent chance Ryan could be the only top 6 winger under contract next offseason.

We will gladly offer you a nice package of futures for Krejci though.

Until Getz and/or Perry are re-signed, Ryan is totally off the table. And based on the Schultz fiasco I do mean re-signed, not just a promise to sign.

To be honest, if there came an offer from Boston for either that doesn't include Seguin, I'd hang up immediately.

I don't see Boston and Anaheim being good trading partners for those players.
Ryan will cost a number of roster players IMO and Ducks will do everything to sign Perry long term. He was the NHL's MVP after all.

Any deal for Perry would probably start with Seguin + Hamilton

We wouldnt do Seguin for Perry, especially since hes a UFA after next year.

Adding Hamilton? Please.

Only way I see a trade with Anaheim happening is Krejci, BOS 1st, and prospect not named Hamilton for Ryan. And Anaheim doesnt seem too interested.

How many do it every year?
How many do it every year their first 4 years in the league getting mostly secondary PP minutes?

Both Perry and Ryan are pretty much untouchable, I don't anticipate any issues signing Perry long term

Ryan is untouchable, there was no way BM was actually going to trade him. If Bobby can score 30-35 goals being on a million different lines with hardly any PP time because of the great 8, he can score 40-50 once he actually gets 1st PP time and has a line of his own.

I thought this thread went away a couple of weeks ago?

The poster who made this thread came to these boards and made about 8 bad trade proposal threads and I haven't seen him since. Every single one of them was embaressing.

Most of us Bruins fans know that those Ducks players could be had for the right price and that price is likely too high for any team to realistically consider. They are core players and the Ducks are not looking to trade them, enough said.

If we're adding Sbisa to Getzlaf, then it won't be because we're trading for Myers and Roy.

I remember your nice package. Two first rounders for Kreci. That's ****ing awful. He's not Phil Kessel. He's not even that close. Thats one 6th overall pick plus a pick that could be a first overall if there's a lockout next year.
