Boomer's tears are delicious. He actually subscribes to the insane notion that the play should of been blown dead but he is taking "the high road" of not getting into it. Glorious.

He should be more angry that his 'star forward' threw the puck back into the pile.

I'm sure more then a few callers on the blubbering idiots show later today are going to try and claim that as well. Seems more Rags fans are ******** about that then I thought.

At the end of the day, Boomer is just a regular sports guy. You may have Rangers season tickets, but you're still a dope.

It'll be another interesting two weeks.

The thing is, I hope Torts stays the Rangers coach forever. Because the Rangers are bloody good when they actually play hockey rather than the full time snow angel strategy.
Very true. When they opened up and started forechecking, they could get us on our heels, and we bent but didn't break, and took advantage of our counterattacking chances.

As for Gaborik, he's a convenient scapegoat, but he does deserve criticism. He played soft all series, and only scored one point due to the fluke of Marty scoring on himself. For $7.5 M, Rangers fans expect more. Richards at least had a couple assists.

Would any Rangers fans care to make any MSG West comments anymore?

I would gather not.

I am upset I missed Boomer and Carton this morning, they probably opened with Major League Soccer.

Keep this thread open forever.

For as long as Boomer claims to have been a hockey fan, you think he'd know that the play wasn't blown dead because Henrik never had the puck...

The goal wasn't even reviewed for a reason, Boomer.

Boomer is a nice guy, but he does an awful job on that show.
Carton's a clown but he has the potential to be funny on various topics (used to listen to him on NJ101.5).

I lisented to the Boomer/Carton show twice the first week it was on the air and quickly realized there are dozens of better things to listen to in the morning.

Boomer will gladly talk about the Yankees and Giants even though he's a Mets and Jets/Bengals fan, but he does his best to ignore the Devils because he is anti-New Jersey. He should stick to talking about football.

Some Rangers fan started a thread right afterward on the playoff board saying it should have been blown dead because it was in the crease. Literally everyone else came into that thread and told him he was a fool, because it was clearly loose the whole time.

That's what this reminds me of.

Does anyone have an image of Marty consoling Lundqvist in the handshake line? It looks so condescending I love it.

The Kings are not an offensive juggernaut. They are a strong defensive team that has gotten streaky scoring.

Let's not forget, they were like 28th in goals this year. Dustin Brown is playing out of his mind right now. If we shut his line down like we have the top lines of Florida, Philly, and New York, we will dominate this series.

Their goal scoring got better after the trade deadline with the addition of Carter, and half their season was spent under Murray. But I agree that some of their scorers are on unlikely hot streaks.

My guess is, when we have last change, Greene-Fayne and the Snooze line will draw the Brown line, and Salvador-Zidlicky and the Kovalchuk line will be assigned to Richards's line.

love the gloves. also love how marty pounds lundy's pillows in a masculine, 'youll get em next year' way. lundy though, basically, runs his hands along marty's nips in a very gay, methodical fashion. no homo.

Pretty much killed on the spot. This series provided much ammunition against that garbage from here on out.

You just know they will bring up Matteau and 3 home arenas regardless anyway. Some of them are a very stubborn bunch.

I'm going to relive the GDT from the last game. Can't wait until it's up on iTunes in Games of the Year. I'll be reliving it over and over again!
