Future Marvel Comic movies

Since Spiderman and the Avengers already have their own topic, let's leave them out of this one.

A new Wolverine movie is coming out, titled The Wolverine, slated to come out next year.

The director of Chronicle, Josh Trank, is supposedly in charge of a Fantastic Four reboot: http://screenrant.com/josh-trank-chr...-sandy-167712/

Any others?

Iron Man 3, Thor 2 and Captain America 2 are the only three other Marvel based movies that are officially a go. Over in the DC universe, Man of Steel in 2013. Ninja Turtles and (Judge) Dredd reboots too.

The existing Fantastic Four movies are so incredibly bad you could let Michael Bay direct the reboot and it would still somehow manage to be 200% better. And that's saying something.

Sad thing is that they are still better then Daredevil and Elektra.

Rumor has it that Marvel studios might be doing a Gaurdians of The Galaxy movie... with possibly Thanos as the villian.

However, when listing projects in development at the studio, he mentioned Ant-Man, Dr. Strange, The Inhumans and Guardians of The Galaxy, before going on to say,

We are very excited about bringing things like that, maybe things exactly like that, to the screen. [...] When you tell people, you know what would be really cool? This movie, and there's a raccoon, and there's a tree... And they go, 'What?' And people like you know what it is, and get excited. And the majority of people go, 'Did you say a raccoon and a tree?' 'Oh yeah, they're going to steal the whole movie. They're hilarious.' 'Okay, I'll believe it when I see it.' I like that.

Ant-Man? Really? Are they going to cover spousal abuse too?

Daredevil should be rebooted. Too good a character.

I remember rumors of a Deadpool movie but...Ryan Reyolds

They could do a lot of interesting stuff with the X-Men Universe like Cable, Mojoworld, Gambit, etc....

If they do Doctor Strange, they may as well do a Midnight Sons storyline since they're like 3/4s there (Morbius wouldn't be too hard to just bring in).

As far as I've heard, that's still happening, and still Reynolds. I think he's perfect casting for it. It's also his favourite comic book character, so I really hope that comes to fruition

I'd like to see another Blade movie to make up for the awful Blade: Trinity.

I think they should just lock up Hugh Jackman long term, and release a new Wolverine movie every couple years, like they did with James Bond for a while.

He's perfect casting, and whether it's a good or bad movie, he makes it watchable and fun. X-Men First Class was a good movie, but his 15 second cameo and two words were the best part.

However, did we ever find out what idiot was responsible for the "Deadpool" we saw in Origins?

I'm hoping the Fantastic Four reboot doesn't suck. They ****ed up so bad in the second movie. So much potential.

I honestly think a Gambit movie could be pretty awesome if they cast the right guy. Not sure Taylor Kitsch is the right guy, but if you get a guy that can play cool like a James Franco or a (even better) Josh Holloway you could pull it off and it would be totally awesome.

Was just coming to post this. Trank is getting attached to a lot of things now, but it seems Shadow of the Colossus will be his next.

It's funny too because Dougray Scott was original cast in X-Men as Wolverine, but got hurt filming MI2 and had to back out.

Ignoring the Spousal Abuse part, I actually think Ant-Man has potential considering its Edgar Wright and Joe Cornish doing it.

Definitely. The first two Blade movies were pretty awesome both in their own ways.

They've probably stayed away from it because they'd have to get a new actor to play Blade and don't want to take that chance. Wesley Snipes is is jail for another 14 months.

They could always use Sticky Fingaz from Onyx like they did in the TV show.

I thought Reynold's did a good job as Deadpool.

When am I going to get to see Terry Crews as Luke Cage?

EDIT: On second thought, maybe Black Dynamite/Spawn himself, Michael Jai White?

EDIT2: No, wait, I've got it. Black Nicolas Cage.

What? I think Ryan Reynolds is perfectly suited to play Deadpool. Which by the way is slated to come out 2014: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1431045/

Robert Liefeld said he saw test footage of the Deadpool movie and it is everything you want from it. It's funny, bloody, extremely violent and will be a hard R

I think he means the treatment of the character, and how he got turned into a mouthless, voldemort looking ninja zombie.

I especially hated it because the Silver Surfer it one of my favorite characters, maybe right after Wolverine.

Interesting to see if they break the 4th wall during the movie.
