Stock Values

I was looking through old posts from a few years ago and came accross an interesting thread and thought I would start up a similar one.
Quote a reply and give a one/two word answer on whether or not the players value as Risen, Fallen, or is the Same since their draft day.

Looking for players from only the 2009 and 2010 drafts.

Erik Gudbranson - Slightly Fallen

How about David Rundblad?

Fell off by quite a bit, but not into bust territory. Should still be a top 9 forward at worst.

Kyle Palmieri

You're joking, right? McIlrath didn't even make the top 75 in the last THN FW, which about 20 players drafted below him did. How many GMs would pick him today ahead of Tarasenko, Gormley, Fowler, Kuznetsov or a good few others?

No way would he go 10th if that class was redrafted. Quite a lot of players below have progressed and solidified their status, while McIlrath remains as much a speculative project as he was when he was drafted, and has shown zero progression in his offensive output in a further two CHL campaigns, which remains diminutive - meaning he has no upside in that regard in the NHL. Not many NHL teams have a place on their top two pairings for a non-factor (and even that is a hopeful projection) in the possesion side of the game. A speculative project at 18 may have the sheen of emerging upside. A still speculative project at 20 is starting to smell. No selection in that 1st round had a bigger need to demonstrate major progress to justify his selection, and he hasn't. "Significantly fallen".

And on what grounds have Peter Holland "slightly risen"? He has also been a steady omission from said list. I can't see anybody drafted before him that there is any chance whatsoever that he might have passed. On the other hand, I can see many players drafted below him who have clearly passed him. Kreider, Rundblad, Leddy, Johansson and Palmieri, just to name a few.
