Is this a joke? First off, it's written so pathetically gossipy that I question whether the author has any credibility at all. Secondly, one "witness" said they looked like they had won the championship while "another spy" said they deserved a beer? That's some good writing, right there.
These are young men who just went through 99% of a dream season together, only to have it crushed in OT of game 6 of the ECF. There is NOTHING they can do about it after the fact but I'm glad to see that our boys are truly a tight knit group who want to spend time together and mourn the season's end/celebrate their success as a unit. Can't say a single bad thing about this. And better that they do their partying now, as far from the start of camp as possible than we hear these stories in September.

OMG. People, they did better then expected. You don't have to win the Cup to be happy with your seasons results. And by the way, how many young men do you know that don't go out and party once in a while? If they didn't I would be worried.
So, it literally has zero credibility and comes from a pure hack of a "writer". Got it. I wouldn't have known; I don't really partake of mainstream 'news' outlets.
I suppose it would be better if they acted like robots and just retreated to their separate corners of the world without some sort of party. I'd hate for them to be mistaken for a tight knit group or a bunch of guys that like each other.

lol omg relax bro, its the gossip column of the post just reporting what they saw. Pretty standard. The hockey world on HF is making a big deal about this not the writer.
They can party as much as they want now. They had a great season and a great run, they should be proud of themselves and excited to get the next season started.

Are you actually arguing that gossip columnists aren't hacks with zero credibility? No one on this board is making a big deal of it; everyone is downplaying it and saying they expect nothing less from our guys. The article is written with an intentional slant to stir people into the "they have no right to be celebrating" mentality, which is pathetic, garbage writing. I mean, you're not seriously defending being a gossip columnist as a legitimate endeavor, are you?
In other news, depressed young men try to drown sorrows in alcohol. More at 11.
Lol, a good point. No doubt congratulating themselves on one of the most mediocre, lackluster and uninspired runs to an ECF in the history of the league. I wonder what the toastmaster(Hank since he actually left it out on the ice) said?
Probably something like this;
"Here's to us for a very successful run to the ECF(10-10 record, 1more goal for vs goal against all against a 6, 7 and 8 seeds) and to greater success down the road!"

I can just see if Maryanne was there and ordering his drink of choice:
Give me a brown cow(chocolate milk) on the rocks"
He should take some those rocks from the glass and have them installed down below!
who gives a damn what they do/ they didn't live it up when the series was on. they overachieved the entire year. they played the best hockey this franchise has played in close to 2 decades. They DESERVE to live it up.
I guess the OP wants to see them in the gym....:facepalm
They are young rich males, who went out on a weekend.
How would you feel if we posted what you did this weekend?

haha i was seriously picturing the boys out partying and Gabs shows up and he's like "hayyy" and everyone scoots further down the bar. They're like "seats taken".
