Kreider - Richards - Gaborik as top line
PACK line (maybe upgrading one of AA/Dubinsky with a more consistent offensive threat) would round out our top 9 nicely.
Miller - Boyle/ Lindberg - Prust as our 4th line
Add your traditional goon as a spare (when Big Mac arrives our need for a heavyweight fwd will diminish) or another multipurpose multitask all a rounder
Yogan needs to stay healthy and develop consistently. His last two years have been ravaged by injuries. Even this year he lost a lot of AHL experience with the ankle injury which still no one knows how bad.
I'm hoping he can be like a 17G-17A third liner who is strong on the puck. Similar to Byfuglien in Chicago.
A lot of people cooled on Thomas because he had a subpar year. Let him train hard and let's see what he got in camp. He clearly has Torts's eyes as the coach went out of his way to mention him during Breakup Day.

That's actually how his name is pronounced, according to a poster earlier, the H is silent in swedish, his name was never pronounced with the 'th' sound. He changed it to make it easy for people to say his name correctly.
Fast is being loaned to HV71 for next season. The Rangers gave Fast the max signing bonus. $270,000. Looks like his salary will be the $900,000 max in 13-14 and 14-15. Fast will be at Rangers prospects camp June 24-29.

According to his agent, Jacob Hedin, his birth certificate has the name spelled Fast. The H was something the family added on their own, probably to add some originality. And as previously stated Fast and Fasth is pronounced the same way in Swedish. Hope this clarify things for you.
The whole line number thing is overblown. A guy might have first line talent, but he's a better fit on the "2nd" line with some other players. Same can be said of a guy who is a "3rd line" talent but brings something to the first line that nobody else on the roster can.
Yogan is that kind of player. He's skilled, gritty, he can skate, he has solid hockey sense. Is he going to be a dominant power forward? Not likely, but he can certainly be a quality piece that compliments your scoring forwards. In fact, Yogan is exactly the kind of player I'd want to put with guys like Richards and Gaborik. He might not score 30 goals, but he can provide the grit and board work that you need to create space for the other guys. He's also skilled enough to make a play. Think Troy Brouwer or a poor-man's Mike Knuble.

I have his Player of the Week card in NHL 12 HUT and I boosted him up to a 91 overall and have him playing with Richards and Gaborik. Let's just say, the line dominates.

Fasth is much more advanced offensively than Hagelin @ comparable ages. He is/was playing well in an upper echelon professional league. He just needs to fill out/mature.
Saw this news yesterday and it got me excited. He's been my favorite prospect since we drafted him. Looking forward to seeing since videos from rookie camp and maybe traverse city? #fingerscrossed
my guess....Sweden next year, AHL the year after...then if hes ready he'd be called up during that season, or would try to make it the season after.

Your projection in this case is the voice of reason, but competition will be determined by who is actually here at that time. Bottom line: he could compete for 4th, maybe even 3rd line (probably 4th) after next year. He is a likely candidate to replace Fedotenko.
