Olden is a Leafs prospect who played for the Otters last season on a very bad team in Erie... My question is where does everyone see him playing next season?

Marlies? If he doesn't make Marlies does he go back to play in Sweden? Or does he return to the OHL.. If anybody knows anything please let me know! Thanks!

The Leafs will lose his rights on the 1st. I'd imagine he'll play the rest of his career in Europe.

This. He left the Marlies in the first round of the playoffs, IIRC, and returned to Europe. No real reason was given, but it was speculated that he was injured and wanted to go home to rehab/recover. The Leafs have until July 1 to sign him to an ELC, or else they lose his rights and he goes back into the draft.

Not a loss. I doubt the Leafs offer him a contract.

I think he's done. Didn't really impress in the OHL after a solid prospect tourney for the Leafs last September.

I think you mean June 1st, as July 1st is after the draft occurs.

No indication the leafs sign him. detroit will probably take him at the draft in the last round and he will become a superstar

All I can say if he can ever develop his skill-set properly with another club, he will be a beast. So much raw potential that needs great amount of time, patient and development.
