So Holzer, Fraser and Blacker on D also currently sitting through injury (3 of the top 4 D). God help us.

Added to 5 of the top 9 forwards out including the leading goal scorer of the playoffs. Then throw in one top centre apparently playing with undisclosed medical issue that has severely hampered his offence the past few months.

Scrivens - over to you.

The Admirals will easily take out the Baby Laffs in 4 games.

It's a tough one for the Marlies; far too many injuries. Losing the top scorer in the playoffs did not help their already bad injury troubles.

It is safe to say these are far and away the two best teams; it just sucks that they could not play with healthy rosters.

They have their backs to the wall; but I need to go Marlies in 6. They have been getting it done from the start; a total team performance with many leaders stepping up.

I'm interested to see how McKegg performs; coming off his memorial cup finals. He has big shoes to fill with Frattin out. Hopefully Zig and Kadri get back soon. The D is suffering a bit as well.

I've read this similar post the last 3 series. They were all wrong. Move along kid; adults are talking here. Go google some jokes; your material is older than you.

The sad thing u are actually s Leafs fan or maybe u are not, but I have read many of your post regarding the Leafs(in a good and cheerful way).

Why would a Leafs fan ever laugh at young farm team who is doing much better than the actual team standard-wise? Talk about a bummer.

If I was a Leafs fan, I'd probably find a different continent to live on, and hide under a rock....Well, atleast until Burke was relieved as GM....

All jokes aside, I CANNOT wait for Friday night. To be honest, I think I am more psyched about this than the Bruins cup run last year, and I'm a hardcore B's fan. Mainly because the Bruins had one a cup before, and the AHL Admirals have never been at this level before. Couple that with the fact that if the Lightning leave town, its a big middle finger in their face for giving up on the city.

Hard to imagine Toronto being able to take 4 of the next 5.

Norfolk did themselves a big favor winning both at home. Really puts the Marlies behind going back home.

Hopefully the Marlies can battle through the injuries and take home the Cup. Would be nice to finally see a Toronto team win something.

I wonder what kind of attendance the Marlies will get in this series? I hope Toronto proves it is more than simply a Leafs town and packs Ricoh.

Looks like the SCF might be done before the Calder Cup Final even gets Game Three played -- would this be the third time in a row that the AHL post-season goes longer than the NHL post-season?

In addition to CBS Sports Network’s coverage in the US, the Calder
Cup Finals are also airing on Leafs TV (Games 3, 6-7) and Sportsnet
ONE (Games 4-6) in Canada, on ESPN America (Games 3-7) in Europe
and the Middle East, and worldwide on-line on AHL Live (Games 3-7).
Fans can also listen to the series on the all-hockey NHL Home Ice

Scrivens better get his damn act in gear. The best goalie in the AHL is not living up to his potential here. I don't see him back next year regardless.

Are you seriously trying to put even a slight blame for the 2 losses towards Scrivens? If so, how wrong you are. He has saved the marlies multiple games these playoffs that they should of lost. Also he will most likely be back next year.

He was lit up last game, just isnt like him.

Why bring him back to a league he's domionated? They need a goaltender. It's a win win for each party

Having seen the Admirals at MileOne last month. I can assure you that Scrivens can be playing at the top of his game and still be being lit up.

Heartbreaking. One of the most ****ed up overtime goals I have seen, especially given the circumstances. Unreal bounce but that's the way she goes, the ****in way she goes

Weird? A dump in from centre that deflected off the glass into the empty net - Scrivens was behind it getting ready to play it.

I'm impressed the Marlies have kept it as close as they have with most of their top 6 out or injured.

The Marlies looked completely demoralized after that goal went in.

I can't blame them. I felt pretty terrible and I was rooting for Norfolk.

If this game wasn't already out of reach (which it is) a goal as demoralizing as that would probably be enough to sink the Marlies.

Since they're already down 3-0, it's a moot point but still. Oh well. That stunk.
