The writing is on the wall! The press conference is really more about the wings announcing their new captain and blockbuster trade (Martin)

They will have 26M with Lidstrom gone, they can pickup Suter AND Martin and still look strong. Pens then target Parise.

Someone needs to tell Clarkson he can't be missing the net from the slot like that, not once but twice.

Some good hits but tentative hockey. THese teams are playing smart high percentage hockey. Nothing too crazy yet.

Both blue lines are aggressively challenging opposing teams coming out of their zone.

Is it just me or does this look like pre-lockout hockey?

I won't lie, I got misty. Had his father showed up, I probably would've lost it.

Disagree completely. I think it's great passionate playoff hockey right now. Everyone is sacrificing for everything. I don't see clutching and grabbing at all.

In fact - the reason there is no room is because both defenses are stepping up at the blue line. We got great back tracking, too. Just awesome stuff.

Must be me then. haha

Spirited game for sure. A friend of mine thinks low scoring games are boring.

I thought there weren't shootouts in the playoffs; that was a bad change or something.

Nice patience by Kopitar, and geez, who screwed their assignment on that?

My guess? Zidlicky, on or off the bench

My dad literally just said to me "I haven't seen an odd man rush this whole game."

And... boom. Where the hell was the breakdown.
