Markov-Subban on the top PP

Kaberle-Weber/Diaz on the 2nd PP

I know that Markov has always done best with LH shots but I hardly think that because of that Subban (or Markov for that matter) will be getting 2nd PP time and Beaulieu will be getting top 6 minutes on defence.

I also wouldn't be surprised if Emelin got some PP time.

To start the season, yes. We never know if it will struggle or someone gets hurt, traded, etc. He will get his cup of coffee quickly, same with Tinordi.

Yeah...I suppose it's possible but I honestly really doubt it.

Markov
Kaberle
Subban
Gorges
Diaz
Weber
Emelin

Makes 7.

Yes there might be moves, but any moves will be accompanied by moves to re-shore the defence if they are moving guys on defence out.

Might as well just let Beaulieu play the whole season in Hamilton, frankly if he gets any games in with Montreal and he isn't putting up PPG in Hamilton than it will mean the season hasn't gone well.

LoL Dannick Gauthier tweets to Nathan:" Congrat for your contract with MTL, I hope the doors will be big enough for your head."

Do we need to sign a goaltender or is Hamilton okay in that department?
For now they have Mayer and Delmas under contract, so I suspect something will be done this summer as there's no way we go into the season with Mayer as our #3.

It wouldn't surprise me if he did see time with the Habs, but we'll need to see how the roster shapes up first, I really hope we make some changes on defense before October.

For people who follow the Q, to whom is Beaulieu comparable in the NHL?

Mike Green is one name that should come to mind.

Beaulieu was better defensively at 19 than Green was like 2 years ago though.

I think that's a best case scenario... I see him somewhere between Green and Karlsson (sp? Ottawa...) in terms of style IF he goes on to reach his full potential... but I have doubts for that. I do not think he'll be producing as much though, maybe 45 points/season, which would be very good.

EDIT: that'S his upside, IMO. If he doesn't reach this, he could be the next MAB...

How can you compare a guy playing junior versus a guy playing in the NHL against grown men?

Hint: you can't

Looks like one, and post like one on Twitter... not the kind of guy I'd be drawn to hang around with, but he can help the Habs, I like him.

I sure like the girl with him.
