Something brewing between Toronto and Philadelphia?
That is the exact trade Bill Ladd from Boston put forth, except it was Thomas going to Toronto because he would be 1-2 years with Scrivens developing as a back-up behind him similar to Rask's development. So replace Luongo with Thomas and that trade has also been mentioned.
If Philadelphia feels that Luke Schenn will help their defensive problems then lol. He'll be just as ineffective at defence as Matt Carle was but without the points and Laviolette isn't the coach to teach him defence in a tight system.

gardiner for b schenn?? both players are about same level of development. trade would address positional needs for both teams. leafs can then replace gardiner with the 5th overall.

l schenn for jvr? been rumoured for months now. despite what philly fans say, in my opinion both schenn and jvr have been some what of a let down in their nhl careers based on pre draft hype. the good news is both are very young and both have shown signs of being really good.
(obviously a potential trade good be balanced with additional pieces but imo both are fairly close straight up)

Bob McKenzie just hinted that something may be brewing between the Maple Leafs and the Flyers.
Host brought up Bryzgalov and Bob shot that thought down, saying Bryz isn't going anywhere but Philadelphia may be looking to upgrade their backup position (Bobrovsky). It didn't seem like it was Bobrovsky he was talking about either.

That's weird, I don't think he's making this up, another poster said they were talking about Toronto being connected to Lindback and Vokoun and said more would be on insider trading. The OP isn't a troll from what I've seen, he doesn't do that kind of ****. Maybe OP confused McKenzie with Dreger?
