case in point... the prof who taught me to do tonsillectomies has supervised thousands of them in their career, but it may have been 5 years since they last did one themselves, whereas I did 5 of them last week...
gotcha now.

If you need a complex surgery that doesn't get done a lot(like a transplant or a complicated cancer surgery), then your best bet is a University hospital type setting.. but if you want a fairly routine surgery(like a knee repair), you actually want to have it done by a surgeon in private practice who does a buttload of them with his or her own hands and has to get consistent good results to keep up the referrals...
Excellent point, I can show the difference in my ankles when they were both reconstructed by people at Vandy.

I Couldnt Find Better Spot for This

What are the general feelings on Radulov now that everyone has had some time to reflect?

What do you expect from Radulov in the coming months?

Will the Preds give him a big extension? Trade his rights? Wish him luck in the KHL?

i don't like him and dont want him back.

i expect him to be traded or gone to the KHL. you say "his rights" but he is a RFA .. much different than an UFA like suter. you are getting alot more than radulov's right. who knows if he stays here though.

if he stays with the preds, im guessing a short-term contract. (2~ years, just enough to get him to UFA status)

I think we have to bring either Radulov or AK back. If we don't then our biggest forward need is #1 center AND a RW. No sense in that...

Got some young talent that could fill roles of RW. You think it would be better to see what we have or make a move for a right now guy at RW?

Doesn't seem like there is a tremendous amount of love for him around here. If the Preds were to shop his RFA rights, what do you expect they'd like in return?

A 2nd IMO for Suter's rights.

I'm fine with him leaving. 14-15 million in a blueline pairing is scary.

Rads will be back I think. Honestly, probably AK-46 and Rads, since AK could be had at a discount.

a 2nd for Radulov's RFA rights would be an insane waste of an asset.

IF they trade Radulov(they shouldn't,) there needs to be an immediate replacement coming back.

Every time I see a picture of Rads, I immediately have negative thoughts now. He's such a wild card. I'm not sure any of us know the full extent of the rule breaking, but it ended up being a huge deal and could have cost us getting into the 3rd round or even into the finals. I'm a newer fan and don't have the history with him like most of you when he left for the KHL...so I've only really been burnt once by him. I personally think we can bring him back for the right price...but the first thing he needs to do is SINCERELY apologize to all of the fans that he let down BOTH times. In that apology, he needs to promise that it won't happen again and then he needs to bust his butt all year to show us that he's serious. I'd be fine with giving him another chance if he did that.

But the real question is how the rest of the team feels about him. Weber seems pretty ticked off at him and I could tell that Rads didn't have a lot of friends at the last practice. Can the team get past what Rads or AK did? That's probably the real question. If I was on the team, I'm not sure I could forgive him unless a SINCERE apology happens (see above).

he missed curfew by an hour.

is that enough to throw out the most talented guy you've ever drafted?

maybe he did. it is confirmed by the guilty parties and his brother. earlier tsn had people seeing them at 4am. know one really knows except those guys and the team/org. until it comes out as fact, I would be weary of dragging a team of managers that have a pretty high moral code through the mud and taking the word of a talented yet selfish russian with a history of immaturity.

7 posts....seems legit.

I'll wait for a source. Could be right, but I'm not taking your word for it, no offense.

No.

His brother Igor signed with CSKA. Apparently, Alexander is just talking with CSKA right now (new GM is Fedorov).
