Halt the presses! I heard Patrick Kane drowns kittens in his bathtub! My source? a site that admits to containing gossip.
The Washington Post didn't bring down John Edwards. The National Enquirer did. Sometimes a little critical thinking has to go in besides merely impugning a source.

The critical thinking has already been done. If Kane had choked a girl and if there were apparently plenty of witnesses then why hasn't he been charged? That and considering the source, it is far more likely that the piece of news was more gossip rather than fact.

You aren't really comparing the Enquirer to Deadspin.com, are you?

Oh, HF.

Kane's not being traded. Can people stop with the nonsense already?

I can see Hjalmarsson being packaged for a 2nd line center though.

Quite true.

Hjalmarsson goes only if R. Suter is signed on, or if the Hawks get another bigger and more physical dman to replace him.

Frankly, I don't care about that portion of it. My point is, you don't bring athletes like this to New York.

You're right. The backwater hick town of Chicago is the perfect place for him.

4 pieces of scrap meat do not equal a porterhouse. Why would the Islanders do this. Hjarlmanson sucks

Neither is our 4th overall pick. Nonsense was originated on the Chicago end when this terrible offer hit viewers

Can't we all just get along? haha. I don't see any of these deals happening. I think Garth Snow is definitely open for business, but he has had a tendency to shy away from the big deal as of this point. I think he is waiting until his team is one move away before pulling the trigger on a blockbuster such as this. He already said don't expect anything crazy this offseason. Until the arena situation is solved, I don't see him making any big moves. He will wave the pick in the air, field calls, and probably stay put in the end. Would I be shocked if he moved the pick? Yes. Do i think he will? No. Either way, I wouldn't expect Patrick Kane to be wearing an Islanders uniform. I can only imagine the damage he could do with his partying in New York haha.

Its a tough call.
On one hand its a good deal, but at the same time its not.

There is some reasonable value there, but if Murray is on the board at 4, I dont see how the Isles would deal it.

Murray is the guy I want to see land on Long Island. Dumba is a solid player as well. But of the two Murray would be my pick if there at 4.

I hope he is Snows.
