The Kings defensemen....they are just so good at zone outlets. Plenty of forward support also. Biggest change I have seen from Murray to Sutter. The Kings are creative and efficient getting out of the zone

Drew is really focusing on the wrister now. No more ill-advised slap shots that probably top out at 88 mph.
I say Carter has been coaching him.

Quick is keeping the Kings in it right now. The Devils fore check is really causing the Kings problems. They gotta adjust and in turn need to fore check the **** out of them.

Rough first period, but Quick looks like he's on his game.
Both calls against the Kings were weak.

Well, that period was awful. That **** cannot continue, if it does, this is a loss. Kings have to stop the blue-line rush, they are playing way too off the offense...a few hits at the blue line might be in order.

It's tough Jersey has three guys at every puck it seems like.

That was total embellishment by Carter. It looked even worse in slo-mo.

The Kings didn't play well at all. I hope for a better second period.

I knew quick would have to steal tonight's game.
Brown needs to get his head out of his ass. He's killed the top line for two games.
Kings need to bury their outnumbered attacks. Lewis and Richards both failed to give the kings that extra goal.
Go Quick!!!

You have to give it to Jersey, they know if they lose this game, it might be the series.
They were going to come out hard.

Kings never forced them into such a situation...I wouldn't have called anything against NJ either.
Even DoTy'S goal was unassisted. I didn't see any forecheck pressure at all from the Kings in the entire first period.

I would sit Richardson out next game and bring Gagne in game 3. Also have Gagne on 2nd PP unit.
I would play Clifford over him for that matter.

I don't know man, even if they lose this game, if they continue that awesome forecheck this series can turn around in a hurry...7 games means there is a lot of time for things to turn in any particular series.

Also they're not getting the puck in deep enough. Too many times the puck only went 10 feet into the zone then right back out.
